  • I notice that pyramid seems to have a calming effect on the deer, I studied pyramid power and it effects, Can you tell me where I Can purchase one or how to make one? Also where is this place? Do you live near a reserve? You people are truly blessed I mean the way nature respons to you, it amazing. Thank you all for posting the vids.

  • Awesome, so wonderful. Thank you.

  • As a doctor I can tell you deer carry a wide variety of diseases and humans are well advised to look but not touch.

  • venison stewpot

  • this is quite nice and i will admit being high and seeing/ hearing this was a great experince

  • @HunterNEB

So, that's really how you want to start your behavior on your new channel? Insulting a total stranger? Showing the world how small-minded, cruel and immature you are? I sincerely wish you well, and that some day soon you figure out how these kinds of actions hurt you more than the people you consider targets. I suspect, however, you may not be that smart. Alas.

  • @PelorianPages Many of us were like this when we were young men, myself included. With luck this kid may survive, learn, and learn some respect for peace and tranquility.

  • Love the beauty, and gentleness of such creation. Love for the wild is awesome,

thank you for posting these beautiful deer, and the people who care for such

animals. Love the music also. Reminds me of yesteryear in San Francisco.

  • Ancient myths tell of a time when all animals and humans were brothers and everyone got along. Maybe there is some truth to that, as some animals seem willing to trust humans whom they know to be kind. Maybe they sense that you won't eat them because you're vegetarians like them.

  • :)) 3:58 baby mary jane

  • @BrotherSkillz 3:58 baby Japanese Maple, but it looks similar

  • @BrotherSkillz sorry :)

  • this is pretty cool, my grandma did this once at a camp for a couple of hours and fed the watermelons, lol

  • cute video, you must live in california, but at your 4 minute mark you cant let the deer eat your pot plant off your porch they might start tweeking oh :o too late:)

  • these people are doing an injustice to the deer and will get them killed,by taking away there fear of man. very cute but very ignorant.

  • your soooooooo lucky yea

  • she

  • I just love this video, the context, the music - a wonderful respite from the winter months to view this. Also, each time I play Starseed cds, they reminds me of your so sweet "deer in the yard!"

  • It's SO cute! I love deer! I love it, I can't imagine what it must be like to have so many pets! LOL :)

Do you let them in your house?

  • awesome music

  • I went to your website and read about the deers. And find that you are lucky that u are welcomed to such beautiful deer family.

  • the music is crazy

  • Your soooo lucky!

  • i love your site, so cute!

  • I wonder do you feed these deer? What makes them stay.

  • Please visit our web pages for a full explanation. Address is in this video's "more info."

  • Hi! Found Deer in the Yard thru StumbleUpon, and had to come comment! Your friends are so amazing! You must be very special people for them to trust you so much. I really enjoyed your photos and video, and hope to see more! Take care!

  • was a joke nut love the deer

  • was that deer in the house trying to eat the pot plant?

  • Sorry, that's a Japanese Maple, but yes, she would eat the whole little tree if we didn't keep an eye on her.

  • lol, i was just thinking the same thing...

it's not a maple tree, its weed!

  • deers waiting on line for a massage :D haha

  • Despite being lovely people, are you at all worried that conditioning wild animals considered to be prey to trust humans might not be a good idea?

  • Only for sake of them getting close to hunters. It's when humans start to feed these animals that it becomes a bad idea because they grow dependent upon humans as a food source.

  • Of course you guys smoke American Spirit Lights... :D

    Just kidding. Lovely people.

  • I am envoius. What an awsome experience to be so close to these wonderful animals.

  • Very magical. Peace to you, beautiful people. :)

  • A bit like very tall rabbits....

    Thanks NOM.

  • Thankyou Nom! Magical is right!

  • Thanks for sharing! I have had similar experiences with deer before!

  • Hey, Suz - how are ya? I am not at all surprised to hear it.

Your videos show that you have a real connection to the wildlife in your beautiful neck of the woods, too.

Hey...did ya notice the "potted" plant @3:43? ;-)

    Peace, girlfriend.

  • Wise Deer Come To my House Wise Deer Have Stubs

  • this is a beautiful peaceful serenity place right her on earth. WEll DONE! I would do the same in your position.

  • We are living on their territory. Where do they have to live anymore? I think that this video is one of the most beautiful footage I have come across. How trusting this family was to these remarkable animals.

  • What a wonderful, peaceful life these deer must live.. Don't have to worry about humans invading their territory.

  • Socializing wild deer like this doesn't seem like such a good idea. If you want them as pets wouldn't be best to keep them fenced in so they don't stroll up to a hunter some day expecting a nice little snack.

  • reply to dud3man6969: Please read our web pages, and viewers comments on our letters page, about this matter. When thinking deeply about this question, many ideas come to mind, one being the assumption that deer are as dumb as humans, even if one or two may be; plus, why do people say nothing about how humans have taken the deer's habitat from them, leaving them little choice about where they can hang out. Think about this: we live in "their" yard, and they have befriended us. Their choice.

  • Deer are not stupid. They can trust one person and know not to trust others. The wild deer in our orchard ignore us because we have proven to mean them no harm. But if I am escorting a stranger they run - go figure. Smarter than us I guess. I think this world is missing a little nature commune as shown in this wonderful video.

  • i love the video. deer are so beautiful. my favorite part was the baby deer and at the end the one deer walked right up to the camera.

  • these images calm my soul.

    And I leave very happy.

    Thanks!

  • It is wonderful that you are able to live in loving harmony with your surroundings. Deer are gentle, graceful, serene animal and I know your life is enriched by befriending them.

Please tell us, are you worried that since these deer are no longer afraid of humans, that they will encounter mean people that will hurt them? What will happen when you no longer live in that house? I hope you will be sure to sell it to someone that will continue to be kind to them.

  • Oh, God, please let me take over when you're gone. I live in Oregon but I'd move anywhere to be in your place.

  • VERY beautiful, thanks for sharing. We are starting to get the wild ones around us to come when called. They know when the cats are in the window looking at them and know when I tap on the window to come closer.

You did a wonderful job. Thank you.

  • deers are so cute

  • Are they wild or in captivity?

  • reply to heretic1211

"Are they wild or in captivity?"

They are wild, but slowly domesticating us into their civilization.

  • stratman250 and jl2box, sorry to disappoint you. That's a Japanese Maple tree.

  • Hey..whatever you want to call it. Good on YA!Just try explaining that to the fuzz

I just see what I sees:

    that being 5 LEAF! :)

BTW since its a Japanese maple then you should grow some weed along side it as camoflage cause' that sh*t looks IDENTICAL

  • What a great clip. I particularly enjoyed seeing some medicinal 5 leaf..There needs to be more of that...I'm curious

as to what you let the deer eat planted next to it?

  • Very Beautiful!! I am a Vegan and I have to say God Bless you!!!! :)

  • Thanks! my grandaughter loved watching this with me - so loving and gentle - what a great lesson...

  • hold down the circle button to fast foward and rewind with the red bar line thing running through it ya hold that down and everything glitches at every seen its funny at 2:51 and 6:13 and 6:30

  • Such innocent creatures. Silent martyrs.

I just Love animals. You are fortunate to have the experience. Thank you for the video. Peace

  • beautiful is all i can say

  • That´s how it should be, I guess.

  • Thanks for sharing...you made my day!!!

  • That's so cool.

  • They know

  • nice weed plant

  • Sorry, it's a Japanese Maple.

  • Isn't there a danger by accustoming deer to human touch and presence that they will stop fearing hunters as well and get to close to those that want to kill them?

  • Awesome! Such magnificent creatures.

  • Beautiful. So many animals are seeking relief

n shelter from the energy. The energy I can

see is emitting from your video everywhere I

look. It is not distortion. It is the reality

of their is a slo mo constant moving field

of their EM/scalar tech. It makes pics n videos pick up a frosting of white out which

u can see at 52, 58, 1:09 into video. The close up at 1:38 into video is awesome,

but the closeup also highlights the energys

signature of outlines like jigsaw puzzle pieces.Peace

  • Thats pretty cool

  • Don't go on zee running maachinee. nooo

    Regards from Germany :)

  • you are truly blessed...they are beautiful creatures. i think you are a part of their family.

  • How beautiful! I see glimpses of paradise described in the Bible at Isaiah 11:6-9 where there is peace between man and the animals. What a joy for you!

  • You are truly blessed.

  • We loved this video.. we have 2 young Stags who come into our garden but they dont let us get too close. Your very lucky! They are also eating all our plants but we dont mind!

    I envy you my friend

  • It's marvelous to see people living at peace with animals and the enviroment. God bless you.

  • I realy feel that you are enjoying nature but in turn you are indangering them with every touch as they will not relize the dangers of men but beautiful footage still the same

  • Please read out Deer in the Yard pages at

    pelorian dot com

  • I went to your site very nice you are very lucky for them have chosen you ....but still the same you are indangering them deer like man can be fooled and in there case life threatning just my thoughts god bless

  • Thanks for your thoughts. Please read our Deer in the Yard commentary at pelorian dot com for our statement about your concerns.

  • They do not feed the deer, and the deer are very wary around people that they don't know. Just like people, the animals know whom they can trust. :o)

  • yes my friend I understand your point but deer like man can be decieved animales are a lot more in touch with there senses then man as his has been dulled from evoulution he no longer possises he natruel killer instincts they lay dormed but still there but man can still fool them is all I am trying to say thanks and god bless

  • yea it was all cool i am glad that you can enjoy the pleasures of mother nature in this way i do it differntly but have all the love for them just the same mother nature can be kind and cruel all ay the same time were ya'll from?

  • this put tears in my eyes.

  • are these beings like the Sirian Dolphins?...eg...from another solar system

  • amazing video - thanks for sharing

  • You live in Heaven with Precious Angels all around you. Blessings

  • I have read your page, and now watching the video, it is all just soo amazing!

  • I just hope you live in an area where hunting is prohibited.

  • Please read our Deer in the Yard web pages at pelorian dot com

  • Awesome!

  • Very tranquil...sitar playing mixolydian mode over a drone...surprisingly western influence.

  • In the long run habituating wild animals to the presence of humans is going to be trouble for one or the other if not both. I will admit however, if I was in these people's shoes I would probably have behaved in a simular manner. It would be a hard temptation to resist.

  • Exquisitely presented video. I love the music too. Where do you live? It's beautiful. I live in East London... it's not. I want a little greenery and sunshine.. the deer would be nice, but I'd be happy for a squirrel at this point. Thank you. It seems you have a wonderful life to be thankful for...

  • It's nice to be able to sit and chill with animals in the yard. Although being in the suburbs we don't really get wild animals but sitting with my dog feels just as peaceful.

  • Ahh, that was beautiful. I feel so peaceful now.

  • I have a hard time understanding how people can hunt these animals. The only thing I've ever heard of them hurting is a flower bed. (Deer love eating fresh orchids)

  • u dont hunt them because they hurt anything you hunt for food trophy and herd management to control the population if we didnt imagine how many more accidents there would be on our roadways

  • Man has ruined nature's natural balance and food chain by killing off wolves and mountain lions, deer's natural predators. There is overpopulation, habitat destruction, and starving deer where I live. Hunting is a brutal but necessary substitute. If you go into the woods by me, there is absolutely no shred of vegetation from the ground to about 6 feet because the deer are starving and eating anything. Nature can be very harsh.

  • Time to thin the human herd and let nature recover. Have a season to hunt hunters with dart guns. Have a season on hunting lawyers we have too many of those too.

  • Very Good Video ! Beware of them though when they go into the rut season...especially the males...who become very agressive...they won't be playing anymore.

  • bro1945 says "Beware of them though when they go into the rut season"

Yes & no....if they know and trust you, there is little to worry about in that regard.

  • beautiful, amazing...how long did it take for them to feel so comfortable with you?

  • reply to cubefarm:

The first night on the property we were sitting outside under a moonless sky, a little bit into the woods, when out of the darkness came the giant black nose of Mama Rose. She came right up to me and sniffed my face. We became friends immediately. See Deer in the Yard at pelorian dot com for more details.

  • wow!

  • We often have deer visiting our yard. There is a peaceful feeling that accompanies their presence. Many have rehabilitated here from injuries including broken legs, and I am honored to be so chosen. Contrary to some opinions, they don't decimate a yard, but rather they browse, such that next year's foliage is usually better. We DO have to protect some things and we DO choose some of our plantings based on what they DON'T like. Sharing our land with the wildlife is indeed a joy and a priviledge.

  • nette spielkameraden, hinreißende bilder! freu mich für euch! licht und liebe!

  • Very cool. Deer are beautiful gentle creatures. However, say goodbye to your garden and shrubs. At least you may no longer have to mow your lawn : ) Also, watch out for for ticks, fleas, and lice. Seriously.

  • Such beautiful animals. Thanks so much for sharing this video!

  • They are so, so, so beautiful! Such gorgeous animals! See, this is what I enjoy seeing; animals being treated well by humans, not being needlessly killed.

Keep up the amazing work! :-)

  • you guys seem to have a good life...

  • Watching these gentle creatures interact with humans is a privilege to watch. Interestingly, I didn't notice an infestation of ticks as is so frequently and incorrectly assumed. Only when herds are desimated by hunting, does nature increase their birth numbers. Without hunting, herd numbers will regulate themselves. Imagine, human beings interacting and sharing the outdoors with deer, nary a bow or high powered rifle in sight! What's "right" with this picture!

  • Without hunting, that self-regulation is called starving to death. A bullet through the head or lungs is less painful than a slow death due to lack of food. Birth numbers are affected more by food supply than by hunting. The healthier the deer are the higher the birth rate.

  • Wow, Such beauty and grace. Thank you.

  • Sorry, did not mean to give you a thumbs down, meant to give it to the jerk below you, jamal49.

  • No Problem LOL

  • And, who was on that land first? Why are they foraging there? A little kindness won't hurt them and a little compassion wouldn't hurt you either.

  • no need for buda and piramid things

  • Sorry to disappoint you. It's a Japanese Maple.

  • Thank You for sharing your beautiful family with us! What wonderful creatures they are.
