Hello...love your video...I've been involved in the Kairos Ministry at Parchman prison in Mississippi and the inmates all sing this song,..I have heard different renditions of it but so far have come to understand that it's origin is old black gospel. I love this video. I was looking for a song that my 6 year old daughter could sing in church as a solo. She has a learning disability and can't remember the words to most songs, but she has a beautiful voice. The animation kept her focused on singing and the words were easy for her. I think its ridiculous that just because a song is religiously themed, Christians automatically will defend it and say that its a good song. This song is not good. You can agree with what they're saying in the song, and that's fine, that's just your beliefs, but aesthetically speaking, this song is just terrible.
@fifle@fifle I personally like the song as a children's song. This song is based on the Scriptures in 1Corinthians 13:13 which speaks about the spiritual gifts that remain, namely, faith, hope, and love, these three. But the greatest of these is love.
I personally do not watch the video, and avoid having my kids watching the video while the music is playing, because I do not want to mix the animation with the spiritual message. I simply reduce the screen size so that it does not show the video.

As far as the doctrinal density of the song, it is an intoduction and an encouragement to those young in the faith. I was utilizing it to help my 4and2yr old learn basic Koine Greek, by using the song, the Greek NT (free at e-Sword(dt)net and the free GreekLatinAudio(dt)com reading of 1Cor13 and a document to show them. Praise God for His Word and wisdom!

My daughter Melissa was given 1 hr to live at Columbia Presbyterian Hosp Bx NY. Both her lungs were unable to stop bleeding. Drs said that not even a lung transplant would save her. I love this video. I was looking for a song that my 6 year old daughter could sing in church as a solo. She has a learning disability and can't remember the words to most songs, but she has a beautiful voice. The animation kept her focused on singing and the words were easy for her. She will be singing this in a couple of weeks. Thank you for the video.

As far as the doctrinal density of the song, it is an intoduction and an encouragement to those young in the faith. I was utilizing it to help my 4and2yr old learn basic Koine Greek, by using the song, the Greek NT (free at e-Sword(dt)net and the free GreekLatinAudio(dt)com reading of 1Cor13 and a document to show them. Praise God for His Word and wisdom!

I noticed you spoke of the qualities of "love, hope and peace" as being fundamentals to athiests (i.e. anti-Christs), but what you fail to realize is, that if you do not have the Holy Spirit of God producing these qualities in you, then the qualities which you described are psudoqualities within yourself. Only Jesus is the perfect pattern, and you need His Spirit abiding in you to work these things in you. I pray that Christ will teach you these truths.

You are a sad person... I feel sorry for you. I pity you. You have been tainted and taught so very falsely about the things of the Lord.
2Co 10:17 But he who glories, let him glory in the Lord.

Compare this to the remarks of Adolph Hitler, and then you may better understand, that Hitler was not of Christ, even though he may have thought of himself a"Catholic". You can tell a tree by the fuit it bears.

Think for a second...maybe your God is as imaginary as he is invisible?

It seems that the idea of a personal God is an anthropological concept which I cannot take seriously. I also cannot imagine some will or goal outside the human sphere. Science has been charged with undermining morality, but the charge is unjust. A man's ethical behavior should be based effectually on sympathy, education, and social ties and needs; no religious basis is necessary. Man would indeed be in a poor way if he had to be restrained by fear of punishment and hope of reward after death.

The word god is for me nothing more than the expression and product of human weaknesses, the Bible a collection of honourable, but still primitive legends which are nevertheless pretty childish. No interpretation no matter how subtle can (for me) change this.
