Ear wax can damage your hearing permanently if you leave it in for too long as well I've heard from medical professionals.

in order to touch your ear drum in your ear do you have to stick in the qtip too far in your ear and what happens if you do touch your ear drum?

If you can't hear due to wax, I definetly recommend going to the doctors to have your ears syringed. The process is blasting warm water into your ears it just removes all the junk from inside your ear passage, and like withinspace said you will feel like your have superhearing powers

o.O so like they put warm water in ur ear? and like... just blast it in and drain it right back out? sounds interesting i will try it eventually but for now i got decent hearing :) good info though how much would this procedure cost? any ideas?

Yeah, basically. They make you hold a cup under your ear (to collect whatever's blocking your ear up). Then use the 'syringe', which is an electronical device about 10 inches long and it just blasts warm water into your ear. I wouldn't know about the cost, I'm from the UK, and we have free national health service

Lol u done it before? XD sounds kinda fun actually i would do it. but i live in the U.S and no health care unless u can afford it which is very lame. didnt know UK had free national health service thats hella tite. thanks for the info dude :)

Yes but the taxes are higher to pay for it all.One must also be put on a waiting list and its long for some surgeries and procedures.

I went to the doctor once when my ears were really plugged to get them cleaned out. It was so weird. It felt like I had super hearing powers after.
