If you needed to something extremely special to go mainstream in America, then why the fuck would Hip-Hop be branded as "dead" Lil Wayne, 50 Cent, Kid Cudi, Soulja Boy are NOTHING special. Even the Canadian MCs who get big in the states are ntohing special (Drake, Kardinal...)
