Video review of Transformers Revenge of the Fallen; Dune Runner

The 2007 movie toy line had a Landmine figure that transformed into almost the EXACT same dune buggy as Dune Runner/Beachcomber--I thought it was interesting how Hasbro was able to create a completely new transforming scheme for ROTF, yet with the same alt. mode.

I am pretty sure the Landmine toy has more articulation than this one, but still it's pretty interesting to see what designers can do with a single alt. mode.

its modeled after the Desert Patrol Vehicle (DPV) or Fast Attack Vehicle (FAV) used by the US Marines in desert combat theaters. the face kinda reminds me of the HUD helmets in Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter.

o and why o why can't the makers of the box-art and transform diagrams transform these toys like the should becouse a lot of the transformers sold these days are transformed wrongly on the boxart.... why is that ?? the 1st gen robots never had this... i think it's sloppy

i have this one i like him , i have the big one that has the springs but to be honest i like this smal one better. i love the wheels that fold up behind his shoulderblades.

i thing i want to know is this : why does the screen fold ?

i dont know why there is no reason why it should.
