  • UPDATE: The "double que" will no longer be possible in patch 1.2.

  • @Susanmugen after watching this vid I changed my telek sage to a seer. The 2000 k is gone. I never saw it come up once while PVP'ing and flash points. Saying that why not make the Sorcerer stronger instead of making the sage weaker. That seems backward thinking.

  • @Susanmugen BTW this vid is one of the most comprehensive guides about any class I've seen. Its too bad we don't have you on or side. Looking forward to your next vid.

  • @Susanmugen where did you read that ?

  • @Pytte About no more double-que in 1.2? Latest Q&A, quote:

""...For example, Sage/Inquisitor healers are currently able to exceed our intended healing performance at times by affecting multiple heals with the same Conveyance/Force Bending buff. Game Update 1.2 will remove the ability to do so...""

  • @Susanmugen

This dosnt actualy work with Dark heal anyway only with Dark Infusion due to the cast time

  • @Jailbuild You mean you believe you can't get 2 dark heals at lower cost using force-bending and ability queing? It works just fine with 2 dark heals, or 2 dark infusions. Or a Dark Heal and then Dark Infusion. You can mix and match. But only until patch 1.2. Devs promised the sorc/sage double-que is "fixed" in 1.2.

  • i havent read all comments so i may be reposting this if so im sorry but i wanted to say since dark infusion is not gonna be ur main heal u couldtake the 2 points from dark mending and put them in force suffsion instead buffing revivication

  • only 1 aoe heal? kinda sounds like a holy pally

  • Great healing guide

  • The entire Republic side compared to Empire side is soo unbalanced right now, republics tank better do better damage and heal more, as an Empire player this just makes my Ass itch.

  • Great guide. I have recently speced my 35th level sorcerer for healing and this helped a ton.

  • Awesome guide thank you!

  • FYI: The large extra heal that Sage's get that Sorc's don't, will soon be gone as of patch 1.2.2 according to dev notes and a dev post about it:

  • Ya great guide keep em coming

  • hey susan i hope you dont mind but i used your video as a reference for the bug of the sages if you want i could send you the link and you can show your support to get this sage bug fixed.

  • is that your real voice?

  • Not sure if you played a healer on different MMOs such as WoW, but it would better to call them HoTs only because it serves to differentiate the offensive and defensive abilities. I call my heals DoTs from time to time as well and have to keep reminding myself to stop lol (plus you got the HoTs at all times ;-).

  • What classes can heal in Swtor? :)

  • @Farekim

Inquisitor (Sorcerer advanced class), Imperial Agent (Operative advanced class), and Bounty Hunter (Mercenary advanced class). Also, the Republic has 3 healing advanced classes too.

  • Thanks SO much for this video, really helped my healing. You can have a gold star from me :)

  • Thanks for the helpful information on healing spec. I appreciate it muchly :)

  • lisp lisp lisp.

  • You say to cast static barrier everytime on everyone but i think we should use this with caution on tanks (PvE wise). Two tanks i know reported me that they were getting troubles with aggro while under Static barrier. I think we should keep it for emergency only, because they seem to produce less threat with it. We might be wrong tho.

  • @MrJmeuh are they sure its not something else? or residual believes from WoW (that's been fixed ages ago?) unless there's a bug, static barrier is only supposed to absorb damage, not reduce threat generation.

  • @FireRose77 now they say that there is no aggro problem while under Static barrier, sorry for the trouble ;)

  • Awesome healing guide ... Good work! and keep em up pls.

  • Brilliant guide, now i feel a lot more confident ill be able to tackle heroics :D

  • And in THIS video we will be reading tooltips to you and showing you an exploit. rofl

  • What level do you get dark heal? I'm 17 and I haven't been trained for it yet...

  • Lol, i love how you don't even realize that you're teaching people how to exploit

  • Great guide. Very helpful for new sorcerers or even fairly experienced ones. Also appreciate the math from the thread you put up.

  • Nice guide! Thank you.

  • Also in the video notes, "2. Resurgance, Innervate, Revivication for infinite powaaaar" shouldn't that be "2. Resurgance, Innervate, Consumption for infinite powaaaar" ?

  • @djdeluxe76 Oops, you're right! I'll edit the video notes now.

  • Fellow lvl 29 Sorc here. Very nice guide, thanks!

Just to clarify, the trick you mention with the que time affecting Force Bending, is that taking advantage of a bug, i.e. is it in danger of being fixed in the future?

  • @djdeluxe76 Whether it's a bug or not is of some debate. The tooltip only says it affects the "next ability" not "abilities used while it's in effect", so either the tooltip is wrong or the queue trick is wrong. And absolutely everything is subject to change in an MMO via patches. In beta, we even lost whole abilities and traits then had them patched back in a couple months later! Six months from now, this guide could be completely useless. In fact, I expect it to be. TOR patches often.

  • really helpful, thanks.

  • The acoustic from your kitchen is astounding. Well made video.

  • Excellent tips, my Sorc is still low level but will be bookmarking this for future reference. Kinda funny at the end when you put up the static barriers and riled everyone up. Thanks for posting this.
