Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and you shouldn't be slandered or slander others because of your opinion. To me, the choreographers of Movement Lifestyle, Jabba, and many other great dancers are truly inspirational. Don't go around trying to sully other dancers. Showed my boy, Jontel major love. I've seen him use parts of the video in his solo major love....Oh and for those who didn't know. Jontel Miguel was his first r&b name i have stuff we did back in high school. To Johnkim. i see what you're saying but they added their own style to the grove section.. Everyone looks alike doing certain moves because. THAT's the move, and JaBBA focused more on the busrt factor you can say, to make it powerful. So its not bitting but more of sampling.

are people STILL comparing very well known and much better dancers to jabbawockeez? pure ignorance. jabba is NOT the best crew out there despite what a lot of fangirls/fanboys like to think. please expand your knowledge of dance to more than just abdc (or just anything from the media for that matter). there are lots of great crews that don't even appear on tv and should definitely not be looked down upon. it all just comes down to personal preference of style.

@Tim33ist It's really what you look at that determines what you believe to be the best in a dancing group. In terms of visual, jabbawockeez are definitely up there. Others on their level will include people like U-Min, Prepix, Animation Crew, and the relatively new I.Am.Me crew are a few that are on par with jabba's level if not better in that area. If you want to talk about technique, there's QUICK, Movement Lifestyle (this crew here), Joyce & The Boys, and Kaba Modern Legacy. Continue...

Just because a crew is amongst the top of the popularity charts does not mean that they are the top in that category (dancing for this example). Don't get me wrong, I'm not hating on the Jabbawockeez at all. But yeah, the ones I named are definitely ones to look up vids on (In my honest opinion).

@whyspread I see.. yeah I remember seeing footage of them doing Sure Thing in some interview but I thought they were just rehearsing....! I guess they actually did quite well in that regard, but they still should have started rehearsing much earlier! Even though they are superb dancers, they are sharing the stage with equally superb dancers and dance groups from around the nation -- every group has to bring their 110% every time they perform, especially in front of such a dance-oriented crowd.

@aleeks831 I agree 120% with you. But this performance wasn't like others; that is, they weren't competing. I think this performance was the first time Movement Lifestyle premiered to the public as an official group. And I think they did well. They gave us, in order, the next generation of choreographers (George, Pat, Jeka), a very well-known duo (Keone/Mari), and of course, the mastermind of it all: Shaun Evaristo. This is basically the coming out of ML. They said "We're here and we're ready."

Remember guys, this is just an exhibition. I agree with some that this performance was quite weak even with highly skilled choreographers. I think the point of this performance was to showcase the dancers individual style rather than them as a whole. Probably decided last minute to do a performance in order to promote Movement Lifestyle.

So yeah, this wasn't an amazing performance from them, not at all. But they all are still incredibly sick.
