@SaraANDJulianaDUHH If you want a little bit of a smoother ride, go on the east (tomorrowland side) track. If you want something a little bit rougher, go on the west (fantasyland side) track.

I've only been on this ride once and i've been to disneyland loads of times. Every time I would go it was either closed or the line to ride was long as hell. When I did finally ride it I had to wait in line like 2 hours. Worth it haha

@PJayDavis You can only film an attraction as long as it isn't on a screen. If it's a ride like the Matterhorn or the Tiki Room they will let you film it. but you will get in trouble if you film something like Muppet Vision or Captain EO.

I hate this ride.

I never knew what this was called till now.

When me and my cousin were young like 5 we wanted to go on this ride and when it was done I was so scared.

I went on this in 1988. Only just now through Wikipedia have I found what it was called as I was so young, I thought it was Thunder/Space Mountain as they were the ones anyone ever talked about at Disneyland resorts. I didn't realise it was exclusive to California. We still have the video my dad made on the ride, only our camera was probably 5 times bigger than the ones you carry now.

This worker at Disneyland working grave yard shift was watering plants in the Matterhorn after park hours then he said 3 things happened at once lights action and the sound of the snow monster on the Matterhorn he said and I almost had a heart attack and he was about 5 inches from it and it tried to grab him and eat him alive and it was loud he said piercing sound and that those things happen after midnight.

Im always the screamer that annoys EVERYBODY on this ride. . But when you go at night, they increase the speed on the left side :] Which I think is the best side to go on because theres more drops and turns.

the young franchise- those are good tips and to add one more: when and if you get to Disneyland when it opens go straight to the end of the park and ride your fav rides there before going to the front because theres practically no line for the rides in the back cuz no one goes there

the best time to go is in the early morning when everyone is still kinda sleeping. also late at night when everyone is tired bcuz they stayed there all day long... what my family always does is go back to the hotel and rest for an hour or two... then go bk since the hotel is only 5 to 10 minutes a day. also dnt they stamp you so you could get bk in so yah....
