@DvRevenant667 oscars are, i mean yeah they're gonna eat a smaller fish, those things are aggressive when they're small, but they calm down as they get older
@hawkwind999 dude semi aggresive fish are fish that will sometimes attack not always wich means if u put in a small school of smaller fish in with it it wont eat them but it generally relies on the fish itself and wath it brain says.
instead of standing infront of her the camera person should be behind her, shes walking side ways the hole video, and can EAZILY turn her head to the camera, i really hope they didnt pay anyone to tape that footage because all there doing checking her out!!!
i agree, the camera person only shot her and throw most the video you have no clue what the fish shes talking about looks like, plus shes only talking about fish for beginners
why the fuck is the camera on that woman all the time???!!!! typical of stupid male camera men or rather, men dominated idea. if she had been a man, im sure that stupid camera MAN would show the fish instead!!! especially if it were a good looking hunky man showing us which fish for wot, all the more the camera will be on the fish!!! stupid men!
@Robloxmaker2313 oscars well kill anything in there tank after being use to being in a tank alone for a SHORT time!!! including other oscars, but should only be put with fish the same size, even baby oscars are NOT safe, youd THINK a pet store would know this stuff, not rocket since people!
"you don't want to put small fish with big fish" not unless you want to have some fun.... throw some minnows with that big oscar and let the games begin
how unproffesional, the cam is aiming on her, while she points at the fishes...the vieuwers dont know what you pointing at darling..any way..nice try tho
I would hold off on doing that. Ryukins may get nippy on the bubble-eye if they happen to be at breeding size or you have males and females together. A bubble-eye filled with eggs will be a mate target for the faster fans. I would keep the bubble-eyes by themselves in a tank with no sharp decor....as their eye sacks are very fragile. Hope this helps.
can of course clown loach can be keep more but ur tank must be big lol nope u r wrong tiger barb don ned to be keep in group of 8 or more u keep 2 or 4 if there is 2 many tiger barb u will regret if the tiger barb tank mate is like goldfish guppy or angel fish tiger barb will nip the fin away
wow I really wonder who was the idiot camera man. Was too obsessed with the woman and not showing people the fish. Expert Villiage fails and should not be allowed to document anything. They do a very horrible job at anything they set foot upon.
holy fuck! $30 for an oscar??? besides why would you want to buy an oscar that siz eanyways???you want to raise them from babies so they know their keeper. and you get to watch them grow
hi i have a quick question?I have a great orange and black oranda and i understand that wen growth is a normal thing but my orandas wen has grown down his gills and it has covered his eyes almost completely to the point where he cant see the food (it sinks and his eating air at the top) also sluggish is there something i can do or is this alright.I can send a pic if necessary
There's nothing you can do to stop the growth. Trimming the wen will severely hard the fish, and there is no medication to slow the growth, Since goldfish are friendly and trusting to humans, you may end up hand-feeding it. Also consider sinking algae wafers a few times a week as a treat, as they will sink and slowly become soft underwater, your goldfish will smell the food and feed. If the fish is alone, the wafer method should work fine. If it's with other fish, consider hand feeding it.
Actually, I think it might work! :) I don't like wens; they look like brains! And they often obscure the fish's vision as it ages. It would probably take a long time to make the wen fall off with the string method; you'd have to periodically tighten the string over the course of many months. If you take it slow, the skin will heal at the rate that it's getting rid of the dead/dying tissue, so no need for any medication. Adding some Polyaqua to the water should help keep a good slime coat.
now if only we could get a responsible youtuber who is making videos for aquarium care and husbandry, and is knowledgable to do a "scientific" study on this.
Hehehe... :) I'd definitely be as much of a "teacher" as I am a "student." I'll try out all kinds of stuff: product testing, "how-to" sessions; I'll even have "guest speakers" that could be some of the veterinarians I know at the Aquarium, maybe the owner of the store I work at.... I'll get a variety. And seriously- maybe you could do something too? I haven't come across anyone as smart as you in the field who wasn't already an ichthiologist or a veterinarian. You should consider it. :)
That's because tiger barbs are not peaceful tetras, they are tiger barbs. Very mean fish. She says tetras or other peaceful fish will beat up your other fish unless you get more of them, this is not true with most tetras or schooling fish.
i think she was talking about reduced aggresion with semiagressive fish, like tiger barbs, when they are put in shoals, and establish a pecking order.
(very few fish kept in aquaria actualy school, the proper term is shoal)
It would be okay if she were looking at the camera talking to us but it makes it even more annoying that she's looking at something else that we can't see. Looking at someone looking at something else that they're describing is really frustrating. I want to see what you're talking about!

obviously a neon tetra is a tetra . its in its name .

She is a moron, not an expert.
Tiger barbs need to be kept in groups of 8 or more, and clown loaches should never be kept in a group of 2.
I am not a freakin expert and I know more then her.
jay942942 2 years ago 3
Actually Tiger barbs can be in groups of at least 4. And Clown loaches in groups in 3 to avoid pairing

where did you get that pile of crap from? clown loaches wont pair in aquariums and are very laid back and need atleast 4-5

sad thing is that we bred those goldfish to grow those!
just like the cats w/ flat noses.
i am by no way a goldfish enthusias, but i was wondering if you could tie the wen off with a string, and wait for it to become necrotic and fall off?
that would harm the fish, but it wouldn't loos any blood, right?
and because the fish basicaly dispells the dead flesh it cant become diseased can it?
just wondering, thanks.

Wow, umm you keep schooling fish in groups because they are scared when separated because they are schooling fish, not because they are aggressive.
Female bettas need to be in groups for that reason, not schooling fishes.

wha? your comment confuses me
