@sgigti The Mark2 shown with the Chaser was built before I had even heard of Youtube! However - I have since built a scalemodel of the previous gen Mark2, which WILL have a video done for it...
dued i want u to join my model contest. its for 1/25 scale modles cars/trucks and its a month long, (april 1st to may 1st) but the theam is imports, plz contact me if u want to join the contest plz and the theam is imports/drift cars hope u join the contest
Nice job man. maybe not the best choice of interior colors but thats just my personal preference... but the craftsmanship was very good. keep up the good work
I agree with you there, the only form of SS/Commodore/HSV models there are is the autoart series in die-cast already made, and they are extremely expencive, fetching up to 200-300 dollars(AUD, since I'm in australia.)
Thankyou - the colourcombo was chosen deliberately to stand out from my other models! (although I do have a 1966 Chevy Nova with the same lime green/blue treatment!) - as for the wheels, I like the 'stock' ones that it has (I could change their colour of course! - aftermarket wheels for 1:24 models are hard to comeby in this country lol!) although I am slowly building up supply of 'aftermarket' wheels!
It is not forbidden by the law... Japanese cars it is much better, than Russian))) It is possible to buy new Japanese car with the left wheels (it is 2006-2008), but it is much more dearly, than to buy with the right wheels.. To choose better from Japanese cars.. People have got used to these cars)) It is possible to result many pluss...
I silly question can shall set... I live in Vladivostok, Russia. It's near Japan. At us of 99 % of cars - Japanese. I like the Japanese cars only, at me was Crown 141, Mark 90, now Forester '97 manual. Where I can get models of the Japanese cars?
Ah Vladivostok, I know a guy named Victor who is studying here in New Zealand, who is from there - Take a look at hlj DOT com, it has plenty of Japanese models that you can purchase online.
As for the cars in Vladivostok, being Japanese imports, most of them would have their steering-wheels on the right - an interesting approach in a left hand drive country...
Yes the seats were a mixture of both spraypaint and paintbrush. They were sprayed firstly with a light mist of both blue and green (giving a patterned "texture" look, then the purple (I mixed blue and red acrylic paint together) highlights were painted by brush (it was not hard - just a steady hand was required) - with a clearcoat sprayed over the top...
The lower part of the tailight assembly (actually it was ONE piece) was painted chrome, to simulate clear indicator lenses - I used white PVA glue to fix the assembly in place. (PVA is meant for wood but is suitable for fixing lights models - it does dry clear and it takes awhile to set - as a result I could easily wipe up excess with a dampened cloth). Painting clearcoat with a brush after they were fitted helped hide any imperfections too!
Lol! I didn't have many green cars at the time, hence the colour! (and the paint's quality was good too) - Oh yes, a previous car I built (a 1966 Chevy Nova) sports the same green/blue treatment!
your work is brillain man i should have mentioned b4 that its my own opinion cos ive never liked green cars like tht lol. im quie a boring preson aas my car is................?:O BLACK:|
Hey man. Very cool video and the music goes perfectly :) the colour changing in the middle was tripin me out the first time i watched it : ) haha. Hey man i realy like this song. Whats the band and song name ? cheers man,
Lol! I used that colour since I felt I needed another green car in the collection (I have too many red and blue ones!) - besides, I'd never seen a Chaser in that colourscheme before, and the paint utilized (both spray and paintbrush) flowed onto the car incredibly well, without any mess-ups!!!
im trying to find out the same shit man,i think you get it off e-bay tho,you can check cuz i havent found them in any Micheal's or any arts and crafts store
Thanks mate - Yeah it was a great car to make up - most of the Aoshima ones are good - what I like about Aoshima is that they often do Japanese domestic market sedans, wagons, peoplemovers and vans (all easily modifiable as they often include spoiler sets) bodystyles - which the other model manufacturers generally overlook...
cool build, i gotta one too and got ideas flowin' through my head! :D

Simply make the video review already constructed red mark2 jzx90, it would be desirable to look at it more close and more in detail :)

Hey Joh, Just something I have to point out, the wheels on that model look extremely similar to those of a vx holden commodore ss.
EliteVideoGamer 3 years ago
Come to think of it now you're right! The Commodore SS is certainly one car I would like to see available in model kit form...

Many thanks for the reference! The site difficult, badly works search..
Some models exclude spare parts, and many separate spare parts are not present available...

perfect work!!! i really have to say...all of your cars are very well done...
how did you paint the purple/green seats? did you spray-paint them or with a brush? coz doing them by hand is quite difficult..

Yes, a shame the car never made it to the U.S. shores. Think of what Toyota's new 5.7 I-Force V8 would do in there...
