  • god damn you are good. love that feel. I aspire to be this good at soloing, gettin there

  • I really dig those jazz runs.. I'm trying to pick-up some jazz influence because it's really holding my attention. So far I've really gotten into Joe Pass. Anyway, would you mind pointing me in the direction of your jazz influences? If it's your own stuff then cool and sorry for being presumptuous.

  • bought a classic 30 because of this guy!

  • @IJS84 haha same here!

  • Think i might try and 'borrow' some of these licks...! ;-)

  • that first lick was deadly, i just had to snatch that from you :) thanks

  • So sick dude! You are really good mate!

  • Top notch. You've got awesome phrasing. That classic 30 sounds excellent. Why does it sound so much better than my Blues Deluxe? Geez.

  • best guitarist on youtube

  • I wish my pinky wasn't retarded.

  • wow...that is incredible. Awesome feel, crazy scales, great tone. You nasty dude.

  • Some crazy riffs there...awesome!

  • Nice stuff dude check out my vids few JM songs and some zeppelin!

    Keep it up!

    Rock on!

  • were you from man?

  • @THACRYSTalMETHOD No, it doesn't.

  • long fingers. tried to do the thing starting at 0:35 ... impossible to reach from the 8th fret to the 15th.... what are you matejsu... some kind of alien ?!?

  • @Reiseleitermusic i can do it hahah just big hands :P

  • you are very good, im going to subscribe! make morte videos ehh????

  • wwhat scale do you use in the first improv video? please tell

  • matejsu! Im a fan!!! can you give me some advice how to sound like that?...

What scale? and setup for the guitar effect... i really love that tone... it gives me a perfect shiver...

    Thanks! more power

  • sounded great man. 0:29 to about 0:35 sounded just like part of Steve Vai's "I know you're here." xD

  • Jesus H. Very impressive!

  • Pentatonic by the looks of things.

  • At the end of the video his hand looks abnormally large haha! man hands or not...dude that was BEAST! very nice phrasing!

  • I cant believe its comin out of a peavey amp...thats rediculous

  • texmex7557 there are peoplethat are more eductatet as you and he is one from among those

  • Dude this suks i dont think the user understands english hes from slovenia!! Damn the language BARRIERS!!! At least muscic is universalll

  • You are bloody good.

  • great stuff man.

    5 stars

  • 0:24-0:34 is amazing very nice

  • Have you learned a lot of theory? It seems that you really know your way around that fretboard.

  • That's not really theory as much as its just experience. Sure theory comes into it knowing the notes and all, but reading a book doesn't always help you play like that! I don't think hendrix read theory :P Although I could be wrong!

  • @RattleAndHum1988 I doubt hendrix knew alot of theory

  • bravo, that was amazing 5 stars

  • What mode and what scale do you use?

  • that's awsome!

  • man, what great tone! which pickups do you have in that guitar?

  • seriously dude. teach me please.

  • how old are you?

  • i bet if anyone else tried to play this even note for note with the same set-up it wouldnt sound as good as him

  • I love the way you fuse jazz and blues licks together. It really makes your style enjoyable to listen to! =]

  • sweet baby jesus! BLUES!

  • if you are a blues guitarist, then yes, I would say strats are "worth it."

  • Are strats as good as everyone says? I couldn't justify paying 1000 + for a bolt-on guitar, no locking trem, and single coils.

  • lol... That's a very weird statement. First of all: pickups aren't cheaper the less output they have. Some people prefer singlecoils. Just because they don't have as much output as humbuckers, it doesn't make them worse or better. It a matter of use and taste. And locking trem isn't something everybody wants. It annoys some (including myself) that you have to unlock all kinds of stuff to change a string - and besides it looks hidious IMO..

And last of all: 1000$ is not a lot for a guitar...

  • Well i primarily play Metal. So i prefer a high-output pickup (Such as EMGs, Duncan Blackouts etc.)

Also i know 1000 isn't a lot for a guitar, (or any instrument) but as a poor high-school kid 1000 bucks is a LOT to me.

  • you can find mex strats for around 400 as well is epiphones for around the same. i'm low budget too. i bought my strat for 500 a few months ago.

  • just bought a 62 reissue strat in mary kay finish for 800...sick deal.

  • Well if you want to play metal I wouldn't suggest a strat. Sure, Dave Murray pulled it off and so have others, but I just don't think its a good place to start if you just want to play metal.

  • hey joe i was still on your account when i said this

  • None of these things is really a drawback so talking about justifying them isn't probably completely appropriate. I myself am mainly a Les Paul person but I think Strats are very cool and very well done. There has been some concern regarding feeling of the new 2008 models but try for yourself, maybe get a vintage one instead. It all depends on one thing - do you like the sound? Because no other guitar will sound the same

  • fender stratocaster 75? is that the building year or a fender strat classic player 70?

i'm sorry i can't find a strat 75 on the internet but i love the quality!

  • is this an ash or alder bodied strat? great tone, good job.

  • Damn dude, sick job

  • What was that drill thing he did towards the end???

    I wanna learn that! :D

  • Definitely. Sounded cool. Like in Zelda when you get more health from a fairy in a cave... or something...

  • yeah he definatly just got more health

  • HAHAHAHAHAHA

  • What scales Do you use to play those jazzy riffs

  • Mostly minor and beebob scales, I think... And then pentatonics all over..

  • damnn isnt that strat like $5000?

  • no you can usually pickup late 70s Strats in decent shape for $1000-4000,the newer the cheaper obviously.

  • what amp are you using? a bassman???? specs plz? :)

  • It tells in the description, hes using a peavy classic 30

  • Great tone. Any problems with only having 3 screws in the neck?

  • what gauge do you use?

  • odlično čoveče...strašan zvuk...

  • Sounds like BECKER the show.

  • great !! love this !!

  • nice!!

  • holy shit

  • that tone is just beautiful haha.

  • wow nice! i can hear in you some scott henderson.. right?

  • hey man, your tone is awesome... just wondering what kind of pickups would you recommend for a strat to get that sound?

  • Single coils. I think the tone here is in the fingers and the pick attack.

  • deffinitely the pick attack, with all the rakes and stuff

  • amazing

  • great man!!!! you remind me of scott henderson!

  • sick enclosures espcially the tri tone enclosure and the diminished pentatonic run was tasty

  • love the very first lick

  • that last little lick looks like a great exercise.

  • nice touch... are you running thru any compression?

  • peavey 30 has really awesome clean sustain.

  • nice dude, you are pretty dang good.

  • beautiful beautiful sounds.

  • some real professor riffin right there

  • if you guys want to play stuff like that study music!! hes outlining arpeggios and triads and modal scales and diminished scaled and combining them with pentatonic blues and rock licks. playing the licks is not that hard, but understanding how they fit is not easy. if you study your scales you can do that kind of stuff

  • dude love the sound

  • How can i find licks like this? What kind of scales do you use?

  • are you using a pic man? where did you get these riffs man? so nice. where's your strat made from? how i wish i could play like you matejsu.

  • dude your guitar sounds amazing plus those riffs. gotta give you props man. [=
