Yeah, that's pretty much the definition of a clip. Hip on knee, no call because it's on Steve Downie. He's going to have a lot of play before he ever lives down his early days in the league though. As someone that has watched him play in Tampa for years, he's a changed player. Tocchet and Boucher have done something to him to change him into an asset and less of a loose cannon. The change isn't as dramatic as Matt Cooke in Pittsburgh though.
Nice work with the slo-motion and as of this morning this was the only place I found the video while trying to tell someone about the hit. Good job, and thanks for posting it.
