The texture is looking better than your first version but its a little to saturated, the t rex has too much light underneath specially the left leg, obviously you already have your footage filmed but I would have been great to see you react to each step the t rex made, you know since the camera trembles. The animation is very nice

It's actually one of the best looking 3d animations I've seen that are inside the live action world.. and you're just doing this on your own?

If you can get some higher resolution textures on it, bump mapping, and some better shading, this would be really awesome looking. The animation of its legs moving forward seems a bit clunky, Jurassic Park 1 had the animation down pretty solid, if you want to use that as a reference

Just my bit of criticism (oh wait this video is 4 years old... oh well)

Really good compositing job!

One thing I could suggest though, is applying a bumpier normal map for the skin texture. Right now it looks a bit smooth, and I think it could look even more real with bumpier skin. Just my two cents. Good job anyway.

great , but i think it should be a lot bigger , maybe you should change the weather? = clouds in the sky so that there would be shadow on the skin of the beast, it would look much realistic and in interaction with his surrounding (srry for the english cause i speak dutch ...)

The reason he's blue is because of the HDR lightprobe of the sky being blue and it coloured the Dinosaur. Hence why i do these tests. lol Chck out the film "Continuum" for the final dinosaur. ;o)

Agh I didn't show my comment. I LOvE this one even more then the other one. The movement is incredible and you just did an amazing job. Only question is why is he blue? I knwo dinosaurcs were apparently many crazy colors(or so they say) but it looks a little odd on a t-rex, hehe. Other then that though this is incredible.^_^
