@JohnnyNitroAZ , "aint no God anywhere" ?? He is everywhere! I appreciated the honest love for God that Jessi Colter and Johnny Cash had in there music. Some of my favorite Waylon songs had to do with God like Revelation, I'm a believer and old church hymns and nursery rhymes. One of my favorite songs that Jessi, Waylon, Johnny, Chris and Willie did was "I'd rather have Jesus" Today's country music is deeply into God and its a great reminder of how big God is within our culture. We need Him!!
I think Honky Tonk Hero's by Waylon has this song, with Waylon only... I have a Waylon only version, ping me if I am wrong and I will research outside the bottle. And, yes, one of the greatest ever Waylon songs IMHO
The pic you have up at 1:31, the Outlaw Reunion. Where did you get it and how do I get it. I want to make a shirt out of it. That is the most awesome picture I have seen in a long time!
DarkSoul520 this song by ol'Waylon is track #8 on the album honky tonk heroes. Great album / should check it man!! Me Waylon ,and ZZ Top go way. Enjoy the album.
Yes, It was recorded at Willie's perdinales studio back in 1999. It's kinda rare I guess. Lucky for me my brother bought me the cd right after it was released.
Waylon was smokin' hot in this version. Simply the best.
