@UnendingGameplay Don't worry, we're already working on an HD version of Valkyrie. However, since all the 3D assets, effects and other graphics have to be re-done from scratch, it takes a while until the add-on will be ready to be released in HD as well. So please be a little patient... :)

Being a space game fan, I cannot describe how much I love your franchise and dedication. I would also agree with JeanLafitte95 in making a PC version, which would be the first space game that is an awesome space game since Freelancer(with Discovery mod). I'm just 15, and this means alot to me, I will die to have another game like Freelancer(I cried when i released there's not gonna be Freelancer 2), and I will definitely stay tuned. This game is really too good to pass down. I've seen very few complaints about it, those who do complain are missing out. @fishlabsgames First of all thanks for the quick response. I know you guys live in Germany so I can't expect it to come up until I wake from bed. The reason why I suggested Steam is because when you guys make the Valkyrie add-on and possibly the station add-on available, Steam is usually the easier way to download add-ons quickly and easily. If you go there, make sure you either got some bribe money in your pocket or a well-equipped ship, cause if you don't pay the pirates, you might find yourself up against a dozen or so heavily armed and extremely pissed off Mantis fighters! ;)
This wont let me download the additional 400mb data onto my xperia play even tho its installed, I have free space and in using my WiFi. Does anyone know what I can do to actually play the game?

The PC version of the standard GoF2 is said to be out in 1st Q of 2012, as well as Mac version of Valkyrie, so I hope PC version of the Valkyrie will follow soon after that! Fishlabs' games are a must-play definitely, but I was left behind as they focused more on apple devices as the time went by, and I'm still stuck with a symbian phone, and I can't afford buying an iphone, so the only chance i can play the sequels is a windows release... GoF rocks!

Does this remind anyone of Freespace? I loved that game, ergo I love this one too. The storyline could be a lot better though (haven't played Valkyrie yet). It's a very boring 'work with people who you didn't like and help save the world by defeating alien invaders'. You guys (fishlabs) should release a story-developer pack so that people could develop stories themselves for friends/strangers. But love GOF2!
@ScalerWave. The non auto turrets are useful for killing other ships that manage to slip behind you. It's also great for taking out ships beyond primary weapon fire range. It's also very very useful in a melee when you have like 9 ships attacking you. It's also lets you keep the ship on course to an objective (like a station) if your thrusts have run out, and you can still damage attackers. So .. pretty useful!
@TAAVI224 We're currently working on a brand-new GOF2 website and who knows, maybe the songs from the soundtrack might end up in the downloads section as well... ;)
Suggestion: In the "Hangar: Shop" tab, wouldn't be great if one can expand/ minimize the various items; ships, weapons, 2nd weapons, equipment and commodities rather than scrolling all the way down and then all the way up again??
I just finished playing the game again. I hope that there would be more add-ons in the future. Maybe something like a few more hidden systems and more blueprints to discover.
@cheeseziyuan We have definite plans for another add-on and we want it to be excellent ;] That's why we can't tell you anything definite in terms of timing and content yet. We want to take our time alongside our other projects to get it right :]
If you plan on making a third part to the series, could the final battle be a little more epic? Certainly the plot for GOF 2 was fun (and even better with the open universe to explore) , but i was a little dissappointed that the Voids didn't launch an all-out assault on a station from like 5 wormholes at once right as a combined Terran / Vossk / Nivelian battle group was making their way to the Voids' homeworld. And admist the chaos you explode the bomb. (i don't know its just a thought)
This game is amazing, but there has been something bugging me. Every single enemy ship has the exact same equipment and weapon loadout and its barely a challenge when I've got a Tyrfing Blaster, Disruptor Laser and 2 SunFire o50s. Maybe in a future updates (I dig updates) some enemy ships can have other weapons or equipment. It would make the game more fun. And maybe a ship with 2 turret slots!
@fishlabsgames the pirates in loma carry a very wide veriaty of materials and thx for doing that the only time i leave is for void ore or if i need stuff in a hurry
I'm a Fan of this game since I saw it the first time on the mobile phone. I played it about 15 times until it got boring. With this new content it will be te sixteenth time... Absolutely great game.
I love this game , even though I've just scratched the surface. I got the add on before seeing this trailer, and after watching I can tell it will be worth its weight in gold. The only problem I've run into is the buy > sell buttons sticking and selling everything, or when I try to purchase an item it just sells it right back and becomes a battle until finally it gives. Please check into it ^^
This game is great, there should be a few changes though.
1. The VoidX ship should get a better cargo capacity, for cargo raiding isn't great with it.
2. Not only should their be multi-player but Loma, the black market system, should connect online. What do I mean? People can see there "unwanted" items on an online market in which they can let people from around the world buy for a fair price.
Not much else I can think of, besides more to the story. Continue making a great game fishlabs!!
@fishlabsgames I think so about Loma also. It could be a good place especially for lazy people who want to buy pre-built blueprints others made to make credits off of. I've built them all but I can understand how blueprints can make one lazy to build em, since some require so much traveling =[
@MrTehownage Depending on whoch one of the new systems you want to visit you can get there wither using the Khador drive or a jumpgate. The add-on Valkyrie needs to be purchased.
I had GOF (the first) in my Sharp 903... it was beautiful, I often drained the battery of the phone :P .... sadly, touch devices spoil the playability of the game... no matter if acelerometer is user or not.
Graphically this game is just beautiful, shame none of my mobile phones can handle it :/
5) Make every map larger, for example - In 1 system there will be 2 space stations - 1-3 planets, i think that 1 planet (on which you cant enter) and 1 station is...repeatable?
6) Maybe there can be multiplayer. Could be fun.
7) 1 Last thing - you guys can make a poll or something and letting people to vote on which things we want in the next game. That would be awesome.
@fishlabs just a suggestion, it would be really cool if you made a planet pack that could be an add on that adds new planets to The map for 1.99 or 99 cents or something.

Too bad i'm a 14 year old and my parents wont come close to even buying games for me. I want this expansion pack sooo badly, i've been trying to soothe my needs by playing the GoF2 original for 25 hours now.
@Falsnam that's normal and OK. Since it's so massive and requires a lot of processing power quite a lot of heat is generated by the device running it, especially iPods.
i love this game, please stick to high quality games like this . it would be awesome if you made a gof 3 where you could do fly in planets skies and things like that. also, some form of coop would be cool

There are shield generators and there a shield REgenerators: i.e. Equipment that increases shield generation rate. We have equipment that increases weapons damage/firing rate. Why not shields??
@MKPodz Granted! We will keep it on the feature-shortlist for future features. It is all a matter of balancing though - we wouldn't want to the game to become to easy in the long run.
@foginpones Each of the 3 planets in the Loma system offer a black market shop with a large variety of weapons, equipment and commodities. You will have to pay them every time you visit, but you could also try and refuse the bribe...
Theres another glitch,when i use the ninja cloak device on my VoidX or the Vossik SKnarr,my ship then to,change,like in colour. how you guys see this and fix this! Thanks!
@CloudLambda There was a bug causing an issue. It should be fixed by now. Make sure you purchased and installed Valkyrie. Is there a green check next to Valkyrie on the starting menu? If there is, you should be ready to go!

Love this game I even got some ideas
Maybe some more high class ballistic weapons like the mass driver but make them able to compete with the disruptor laser.

If you plan on making a third part to the series, could the final battle be a little more epic? Certainly the plot for GOF 2 was fun (and even better with the open universe to explore) , but i was a little dissappointed that the Voids didn't launch an all-out assault on a station from like 5 wormholes at once right as a combined Terran / Vossk / Nivelian battle group was making their way to the Voids' homeworld. And admist the chaos you explode the bomb. (i don't know its just a thought)

This game is amazing, but there has been something bugging me. Every single enemy ship has the exact same equipment and weapon loadout and its barely a challenge when I've got a Tyrfing Blaster, Disruptor Laser and 2 SunFire o50s. Maybe in a future updates (I dig updates) some enemy ships can have other weapons or equipment. It would make the game more fun. And maybe a ship with 2 turret slots!

I'm a Fan of this game since I saw it the first time on the mobile phone. I played it about 15 times until it got boring. With this new content it will be te sixteenth time... Absolutely great game.

I love this game , even though I've just scratched the surface. I got the add on before seeing this trailer, and after watching I can tell it will be worth its weight in gold. The only problem I've run into is the buy > sell buttons sticking and selling everything, or when I try to purchase an item it just sells it right back and becomes a battle until finally it gives. Please check into it ^^

This game is great, there should be a few changes though.
1. The VoidX ship should get a better cargo capacity, for cargo raiding isn't great with it.
2. Not only should their be multi-player but Loma, the black market system, should connect online. What do I mean? People can see there "unwanted" items on an online market in which they can let people from around the world buy for a fair price.
Not much else I can think of, besides more to the story. Continue making a great game fishlabs!!

@fishlabsgames I think so about Loma also. It could be a good place especially for lazy people who want to buy pre-built blueprints others made to make credits off of. I've built them all but I can understand how blueprints can make one lazy to build em, since some require so much traveling =[

I had GOF (the first) in my Sharp 903... it was beautiful, I often drained the battery of the phone :P .... sadly, touch devices spoil the playability of the game... no matter if acelerometer is user or not.
Graphically this game is just beautiful, shame none of my mobile phones can handle it :/

And a couple more things:
5) Make every map larger, for example - In 1 system there will be 2 space stations - 1-3 planets, i think that 1 planet (on which you cant enter) and 1 station is...repeatable?
6) Maybe there can be multiplayer. Could be fun.
7) 1 Last thing - you guys can make a poll or something and letting people to vote on which things we want in the next game. That would be awesome.
Please answer, i wanna know what you think x).

My opinion: For the your next game i have some suggestions.
1) Cruise engine - when used,powers the ship's speed. Game will become intense. Every ship - new engine style etc.
2) Jump animation - when using a jump gate or a wormhole (from GoF 2) there should be some kind of animation or something, you get the point.
3) Landing on planets - That would be awesome, taking missions from there etc.

@Falsnam that's normal and OK. Since it's so massive and requires a lot of processing power quite a lot of heat is generated by the device running it, especially iPods.

There are shield generators and there a shield REgenerators: i.e. Equipment that increases shield generation rate. We have equipment that increases weapons damage/firing rate. Why not shields??

I just got the Nemesis ship, pretty good. Only bad part about it is really only one secondary weapons slot. Other than that a great ship.

@foginpones Each of the 3 planets in the Loma system offer a black market shop with a large variety of weapons, equipment and commodities. You will have to pay them every time you visit, but you could also try and refuse the bribe...

@CloudLambda There was a bug causing an issue. It should be fixed by now. Make sure you purchased and installed Valkyrie. Is there a green check next to Valkyrie on the starting menu? If there is, you should be ready to go!
