Does anyone know about the game not wanting to start? I play threw the program Steam, and it launches the game to the game menu just fine. But when I go to press on Training or New Game mode, It loads the map and then it freezes. I get a message about the "Splintercell.exe" stopped working, what does this mean. I'm in the process of reinstalling the game again.

@Derusx Steam might be your problem. I've heard many others who play on Steam say the same thing. Apparently, the retail version (i.e. the CD) is much more stable than the electronic version. I don't know how true that is since I don't have SC:DA on Steam, but I'd suggest taking up the issue with Steam Customer Service and have them diagnose the problem, or demand a refund.

When they make SC6, they need to being back the best elements of the old school SC games. They can keep the Krav Maga,cover system and the ability to move fast when things go bad. Those where all good but I would like to see the return of non-lethal attacks, the ability to move bodys and most of all more stealth.

SC Conviction was ok but it didn't feel like a SC game. It was something completly diffrent.

Also, dumping the black and white when hidden thing would be good too.

i liked Double Agent a lot... Conviccion... i liked it but it really dissapointed me a lot, i expected so much more and with the same game mechanics, but i think by saying this i speak for all of us, Chaos Theory was the best of all and i really want another Splinter Cell with the mechanics of Chaos Theory and Co-op missions like Chaos Theory... huge fan of Splinter Cell and Sam Fisher...

i like how this game is based more on the splinter cell books. the opsat can display enemies and you pretty much have a clear route. and how getting by safely is more about letting the guards thing everything is okay with out knock outs or minimal casualties.

@makemoney140 nope cause its infared light wich the human eye can´t see. i don´t know why they made it visuable but its only digital cameras and other electronics like you TV that´s able to see infared. e.g if you take your television remote and your mobile camera and point the remote towards the mobile camera and then press one of the buttons on the remote, you will be able too see a light throught the telephone camera. you´d be able to see the infared light. it´s pretty cool :P

@zabjelozofr Honestly, Double agent, but if you don't have Chaos Theory yet, that is the one to go for, great online Multiplayer. Conviction, is a far step away from the classic splinter cell..its not a bad game far from it. If you have a PS3, the HD Collection is coming soon, and if you have a 360, then...well we can hope the collection is on its way soon. Hope that helped. :)

@juneyaka Thats what people dont understand. Conviction isnt like splinter cell thats because sam is not a splinter cell agent anymore. He is a rogue soldier now and he is mad. Before he was given missions from the government, now in conviction he is anti government. So ofcourse he is going to go for broke and start killing people left and right. I dont know what is so hard to get about that. Splinter Cell Chaos theory is and will always be the best out of all of the series.

@DJSexLeopard Yeah exactly. He is not in the NSA anymore and he isnt AS stealthy. I returned the game because it was NOTHING like all of the other splinter cell games. I have had all of them. And the whole storyline is kinda diffrent because in one of the DA games you can either have the JBA kill Lambert if you send the info to them. But in conviction it says he died from his wounds. I will never get conviction ever again.
