very lovely work! just what the people of pak need. this band is indeed umeed for the furture! i hope many more follow in footsteps and work to represnt majority of country in leftist socialist tradition.. 1criticism: choice of female disappoints. cant speak urdu, seems like forced addition put in for decoration(as per below). does not suit awami lal band. how can she talk to mazdur or avg pkistani? poor choice. need female revolutionary to inspire working women of pak not elite girl frm zamzama

Is it a coincidence that we have a handful of women artists in Pakistan? I think there is something deeply misogynist about people that cannot recognize or appreciate the enormous number of social taboos that women have to break to put themselves in front of the public in a music group in the context of a society where Taliban are running amok. Whether elite or working class, I think we as socialists should encourage women to enter the public domain in all fields of life.

The best thing about this laal phenomenon is that for once we as a nation might get a little more interested in our Language

........Urdu...... and Urdu literature........ which is an absolute beauty ..........and like all other beautifull things Pakistanis have ruined it ... destroyed it by shear negligence

wicked stuff. love it. in terms of impact, these guys have made as big a splash as Vital Signs, Junoon, Fuzon, etc made when they first showed up. brilliant stuff guys... wish there was an easy way to get their CD online though.

I know it's somewhat inappropriate to say this but Mahvash is gorgeous. hope she has an unattached sister. :)
