Around 2:27-ish, when Moises grabs the blade with his hand, I would ask if armor is a consideration in your training? With chain mail gloves, that is not only highly feasible, but recommended. Edu hadn't begun his next cut, so there wouldn't be enough energy to cut through the mail. Of course, that would have degenerated into close range grappling, but. Possible.
Thanks for your comments!. We consider we wear no armour at all, so that's why I (Edu) always encourage Moisés not to stop any incoming attack with the hand (and also, of course, for security reasons ;-P). It was just a reflex action. Anyway your observations are interesting. Thanks!
