I always thought that a dance off at McDonalds was not very realistic, but I actually love the moves. The dancers are perfectly in sync. This scene is posted by a few people, but the sound in this posting is actually the best I've heard.

Here's the part I remember best! Mac and Me was great fun when I saw it in 1989 and (all bad reviews aside) there are lots of memorable scenes and a catchy soundtrack to boot, but it's all in the eye of the beholder. This scene proves how Mac and Me was a product of a certain time and place, and you had to be an '80s child to really appreciate the movie. Funny how E.T. was distributed on home video exactly 5 months before. THAT was an epic coincidence if I ever saw one.

Glad everyone likes it so far! I remember when I was little I always felt sad they had to leave the party so soon. Everyone seemed to be having such a good time dancing and I liked the song they played. LOL
