  • well done lee strobel...

  • Yes I know what other religions that matches the words of the bible, but many of those religions were destroyed by the Christian zealots so it doesn't matter

  • Comment removed

  • "famous and well-respected former atheist" A false claim made by con-man Lee Strobel to sell his wares to the gullible Christian. About all he is qualified to do is be a good infomercial pitchman for the new George Foreman grill.

  • skepticsannotatedbible. com

a total of 461 contradictions of the bible.

the words of a few uneducated, gullible people living in some of the most uncivilised parts of the world 2000 years ago who cannot be cross examined do not make reliable witnesses.

  • @ShamiraTaquila theyre called viewpoints... do some real research

  • @LovaticAndJesusLover You accede that the people writing the bible are expressing a point of view? Not the word of "god"? Good, I'm glad we agree on something. (I used the present tense for the verb 'to write' because the bible is continually being written and rewritten, even today.)

Furthermore you should practise what you preach - do some real research yourself.

  • @ShamiraTaquila yesh there r points of view but thats not what i meant.. i admit that came out wrong... but i meant like in the four gospe;ls. Yes its the word from GOd's mouth but when you documents things that you see (as in the first four gospel and the accounts of Jesus's deaths) most likely people are going to see things the others didnt. I mweant actual point of view like maybe you didnt notice something the other disciple did. and u noticed something they didnt. thatds whats i meant

  • @ShamiraTaquila plus it only seems like they r contradictions. the first four gospels say different things about Jesus on the cross. But those who trust God have no problem harmonizing the Gospels. If ungodly men refuses to humble himself & obey the gospel, and instead desires to build a case against the Bible, God gives him enough to build his own gallows. note that the seeming contradictions in the four Gospels attest to the fact that there was no corroboration between the writers.

  • in Matthew, the angel tells Joseph, in Luke the angel tells Mary... google NT contradictions people and check your bibles

  • eye witness, eye witness, tell me lee, who 'witnessed' what the angel told mary, who 'witnessed' what jesus said in mount gethsemany if the apostles were asleep? where are your archeological evidences for the killing of the infants? something so fantastic that just could not have gone silenced? ooh, the bible tells it, ok, wasnt anybody else interested in telling such event?

  • For those who had NOTHING to gain for example, unbeliever's validate who Jesus is. History and witnesses confirm Jesus life, death, and resurrection. Only those who seek to discredit Jesus will use stories that have no validity to back them up as their method of denying his divinity.

  • @TheNewday2 history does not confirm the life of Jesus. There were no eyewitness accounts, only "hearsay" of eyewitness accounts... but this is elementary stuff. But if you are Christian, you will have faith no matter what which as I understand it, is the whole point

  • @cattlexing You haven't read the bible then because it is not only the word of God it's truth and documented history. Not only were there Christians who validated Jesus Christ's existence there were non-believers who confirmed it.

  • @TheNewday2 - Jesus Christ never existed. Christianity was invented under the Flavian trinity.

  • @TheNewday2 documented history? i'm sorry but that's false. bible is not considered to be a historical document.

there is no evidence that a man like that ever existed. you would know this if you would spend more than 10min on the subject

  • @cattlexing Ya right....cause you were there

  • well, Lee, those are exactly the same reasons muslims give to say their Quran is divine.

  • Lee, I love you videos. You help keep Christians strong in faith. God bless

  • @TheDarvus LOL, you laugh through your pain in defeat... that's good, it'll ease your suffering. Hopefully, now you'll take the time to get educated so you won't have to go around making up silly theories without any support and making yourself look bad.

  • @TheDarvus your theory has been refuted all over youtube... you have zero evidence to support it and zero historians on your side. You lose! and your theory gets thrown out of court.

  • @TheDarvus you take Paul's words out of context and you know it. No one believes your silly theory. It has been refuted all over youtube. It has been weighed, it has been measured, and it has been found wanting.

  • No eyewitnesses, limited archaeological evidence (no evidence for Bethlehem), and "affirming the consequent" predictions.

Not one of the gospel writers were historians, and are full of bias (a great deal of which is quite useless to modern historians).

"Essential facts" like Jesus' birth date, place, and details are dichotomous and different between the gospels.

I haven't even mentioned the 400,000 manuscript differences.

    Strobel failed massively here.

  • @MrLopsider the fact that you said the 'bible writers' discredits everything you just said

  • "it has been corroborated by archeological discoveries"? Lies, lies, lies. There's no evidence whatsoever for the Exodus, for replacement of Canaanites by Hebrews, for the Flood (of course), for the greatness of King David (Judah, his kingdom, was tiny and insignificant - his might was exaggerated by the Bible writers), and many many other things. The Bible is highly flawed as historical literature and full of appallingly silly fairy tales of talking snakes and burning bushes.

  • @MrLopsider I am sorry but you are wrong and that what you just said is not representative of good scholarship so thus you fail miserably!

  • at least he admits that the bible is just hearsay

  • I invite all Christians to read the Popes new tome on the Holy Bible titled "Verbum Domini"; I gave it 2 thumbs up !!!

  • Christians burned all the books of the past so we don't know if there was books that matche the bible.

  • All the books of the past were burned??? That's an amazing claim! When exactly was this done? Who did it? What is your evidence for this claim?

  • "The Bible contains credible and well documented miracles" surely miracles are incredible by their nature. A credible miracle is just a trick. And please do not say that they are well documented. Nothing in the bible is well documented. Accounts of the same history are contradictory.

  • @anthonp1 wrong that is a misconception and false accusation!

  • @shaolinschool2010 You need to explain yourself, Are you disagreeing with my assertion that the bible is contradictory or that miracles are incredible by nature. For contradictions see the 'skeptic's annotated bible' and if you come to the conclusion that the bible does not contradict itself we can look at some examples. If you think that miracles can be credible, then ask yourself what is the difference between a miracle and a magic trick.

  • @shaolinschool2010 I am disagreeing with you in that The bible is not contradictory. And most if not all of the bible is well documented...

  • How many times does science have to prove the bible wrong?

  • @gregrutz it doesn't matter how many times my friend. some religious people will still be like "LA LA LA LA LA IM NOT LISTENING *covering there ears"

  • Sure, Lee Stroebel is a skeptic.

To the same extent, I'm a respected neuroscientist and the sky is a lovely shade of green at night, while turning to a blinding hot pink in the daytime

  • "...Different perspectives on some of the details lend historical credibility to the accounts"

So your saying that since the books of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John all have the story of the Empty Tomb, and that one story is never exactly the same as the other, you're claiming that counts as "historical credibility"?

    I don't think so.

  • 'Must have a divine origin'' ?!? Then God thought the earth was flat.

  • It doesn't matter how many facts about the time the Bible has in it, there still isn't enough evidence to support the idea of Jesus being divine. Pliny the Elder's "Natural History" lists thousands of facts that are true, but no matter how many true facts there are in the book, it doesn't make soaking your dick in vinegar after passing a kidney stone (as per Pliny's suggestion) a good medical idea.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 research the shroud of turin, and read lee strobels book a case for christ. Then read all 300 plus messianic prophesies which were written hundred of years in advance of christ, we can prove that with the dating of the book of daniel and the dead sea scrolls, the book of isaiah. Daniel prophessed to the exact date when jesus would come into jerusalem riding on a donkey only to be slaughtered later that week, the evidence is overwhelming, just open your heart.

  • @777itisfinished Didn't Jesus say the second coming would happen before his generation came to an end? Has he come back yet? No. Also, it is astronomically far more likely that the story of Jesus was created to fit the 300 messianic prophecies, rather than there actually being a supernatural visitor to this planet. "Hey Gospel Author X, write about this guy named Jesus, but make sure he fits these 300 prophecies so later on shitheads like 777itisfinished buy into it without thinking."

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 Yeah, exactly! thats why Jesus is the messiah! He fulfilled 300 plus messianic prophesies that historians, archaeologists, and scientist back up. Did you look into what i suggested you should look at? Or are you one of those "free thinkers" that think freely without facts? The evidence is overwhelming and i dont want to see you be willingly ignorant about it because these facts are the most important facts youll ever run into in your life.

  • @777itisfinished I have read The Case for Christ, and I found it weak and full of logical fallacies. My point is, no matter what those 300 prophecies were, the story of Jesus would have been written to fulfill them. That's not a point in his favor, in case you were confused. I am a person who looks at facts, but just because it was written in the Bible does not make it a fact. Nothing is a fact until it is demonstrated with evidence. You're as dumb as the dirt you believe your god made you from.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 Written to fulfill them? Are you trying to say that he purposely tried to fulfill them? Or that these prophesies were written after Jesus time? Its obvious you havent looked at the facts, put the bible aside, which is historically, scientifically and archaeologically accurate, all of the "magical/mythical" stories of the old testament have been proven true, the scrolls of Isaiah and Daniel have been at hundreds of years before the time of Christ, and these are the pinpoint...

  • @777itisfinished --all of the "magical/mythical" stories of the old testament have been proven true-- Man, you are brainwashed to the hilt. None has been proven true in fact they have been proven false, E.g. the global flood.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 ... details of the coming of the messiah, they are so exact that they nailed the time of his crucifixion to the exact time, if that doesnt scream divinty then I guess I dont know what will. You said you dont care about the 300 plus prophesies that he fulfilled, well then what do you care about? Evolution? So much for your last statement, "Nothing is fact until it is demostrated with evidence." That has got no truth behind it, evolution. God Bless

  • @777itisfinished No. I really don't think you understand my point. Jesus "fulfilled" these prophecies BECAUSE THE PERSON WHO MADE UP THE STORY OF JESUS DECIDED THAT JESUS SHOULD FULFILL THEM. Just because in chapter 1 there were a bunch of prophecies, and in chapter 2 some guy fulfills them (even if the books were written hundreds of years apart), doesn't mean that the author of chapter 1 had to know what was going to happen in chapter two. The author of chapter 2 takes care of that.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 Oh, so youre saying Jesus never exsisted? That is so foolish, every historian said he was a real man, and everything I suggested you should look at shows that hes not fake. To say he was/is fake is to say that the internet doesnt exsist. It does, in fact youre on it right now, its right in front of you, just as Jesus is standing in front of you loving you and pleading for your soul so you dont have to face the eternal ramifications of sin.

  • @777itisfinished ; There is talk in Jewish history about a man called "Joshua" who was comdemned to death. It`s not even sure it the same person as the Jesus of the New-Testament. Anyway, the jews, very versed in the scripture didn`t recognise him as the Messiah. Either there is something wrong with the Jews, or there is something wrong what that so called "prophecy"

  • @lizazoon I'm sorry that you are being so ignorant, the evidence is overwhelming, the exact time of Jesus death was prophesied in Daniel. "Seventy weeks are determined upon thy people and upon thy holy city, to finish the transgression, and to make an end of sins, and to make reconciliation for iniquity and to bring in everlasting righteousness, and to seal up the vision and prophecy, and to anoint the most Holy." Daniel 9:24

  • @777itisfinished : The evidence ??? WHAT EVIDENCE ? Show me your evidence, please Thank you.

  • @lizazoon "And after threescore and two weeks, the Messiah shall be cut off, and but not for himself; and the people of the Prince that shall come shall destroy the city and the sanctuary. Daniel 9:26

    1 day = 1 year

    1 week of years = 7 years

    1 threescore = 420 years (60 x 7)

    1 Time = 700 years (100x 7)

  • @777itisfinished With such a calculation you cannot even graduate from kindergarten.

  • @lizazoon I cannot enlighten you of anything if youre so locked up on the inside. It is unfortunate that people will be willingly ignorant of the facts. And what you said about how such a calculation no one would be able to graduate kindergarten, thats true, the formula is so simplistic that even a young child can understand it, yet you cannot see the light, the truth, the life. Ill be praying for your eyes to be opened because the evidence is overwhelming and youre deliberately blind to it.

  • @777itisfinished You see you take your own fantasy for truth. Where does it say in the bible that 1 day = 1 year ? That 1 week equals 7 years. That your own fantasy. With calculations like that, I can prove the end of the world with " Snowwhite and the 7 Dwarfs ". Anybody who accepts that as proof is nuts.

  • @urheadonastick Keep your head solidly on that stick, It might fall off. Great entertainment. Indeed.

  • Comment removed

  • @urheadonastick ; Intelligent design, an invention of those ,who feel too stupid defending creation head-on.

  • @lizazoon I understand you do not want to accept that there is a messiah, but when you put everything together its obvious we the people need a savior. Jesus fulfilled every single prophecy that had to do with his first coming. There are a few prophecies that have to do with his second coming, however those arent to be fulfilled until the time of the end of the age. To say all prophecy is nonsense is like saying the halocaust never happened. Dont be fooled by selfish desires, search for truth.

  • @777itisfinished ; I will accept anything with EVIDENCE. Even the Jews, for whom those prophecies were intended ,do not recognise the Messiah. Is tthere something wrong with the jews, or is there something wrong with alle those prophecies about the Messiah ? All those prophecies are nonsense, some are even written in the past tense. A sure indication it was written after the fact.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 So, hold on. Did you look at the book of Daniel like i said you should look into? Daniel prophesised to the exact time when Jesus was to be crucified. Archaeologist date Daniels writtings before the time of jesus, 400 plus years before him, and then he gets the time of Christs death right on, thats no coincidence. Ancient Roman records date the time that Jesus died at 30 A.D. Exactly when Daniel said he'd die. No, this isnt a fairytale, its reality.

  • @777itisfinished ; All prophecy is nonsense. Period.

  • @777itisfinished The book of Daniel is nonsense, like all the rest of the O.T.

  • @lizazoon

Glad to hear your life story, and who knows what your saying is the truth, you could be a 8 year old girl living in a trailer in Montana for that matter - - I'll unblock you- post to your hearts delight -You mistake cowardice with just not wanting to deal with buffoons on youtube-

  • @urheadonastick Unfortunately, as with the bible, either you believe me or not. There will be NO evidence. It`s amazing how one``s perspective changes when you know something about the adversary. Good day.

  • @lizazoon

yer right seems we have both seen some-Some people click with God others dont ,none of it is contingent on how smart or educated we are. As I pointed out about evidence 99% of all history thats been notated has lost the evidence to back it up, I cant prove 99% of every last detail I did yesterday, the bible is 2 thousand years old at its earliest the lack of evidence is a given on anything that old, it come down to faith, the life of Christ adds up for me- nuff said.Peace

  • @urheadonastick PEACE !!

  • @urheadonastick, what makes Jesus so worthwhile in your opinion? I can't think of a single useful bit of knowledge or insight to have come from him and quite a few very bad ideas. Like being against divorce, or suggesting that he could forgive us of the sins we've committed against others. Even the idea that we live on after death seems to devalue life to me. Why is it a big deal if someone dies to you if you're so sure they continue to live on in a better place?

  • @ananiasacts

Tuff questions-Guess your wired different than me-Jesus words ring true with most people -even atheist-let he who is without sin cast the first stone-turn the other cheek, if a man ask you for your scarf give him your coat also-seems if all humanity to live with such a mind set we would do ok for ourselves.Right now we will be lucky if humanity survives anther 100 years.

  • @urheadonastick that is a good point even as a christian skeptic i cannot deny those words. if we all gave a helping hand this world would do great. but clearly most of us are not and it is a shame. a dying shame if you will.

  • @urheadonastick, These seem like stupid remarks to me. If you examine "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" it means nothing at all. Do you interpret it to mean that no one may punish anyone else? You clearly don't believe that. So why do you repeat something meaningless as if it means something? It makes you seem mindless to me. Like there's no point in even trying to communicate because all you can do is repeat pablum as if it is great wisdom. It only demeans us both.

  • @ananiasacts

Yes society must convict and punish the murder rapist and thieves, this is necessary within a society and is why we set up a justice system-the point Jesus made is our society's judicial system should be run by men of good conciseness& moral character- Good luck with that right? -all societies try there best to root out the evil that is always within these systems- Evil dictators will almost always bring down the entire country.Little off the point but I thing you get the idea.

  • @urheadonastick, I don't see how you get from what he said to "the point Jesus made is our society's judicial system should be run by men of good conciseness& moral character." It seems to me that you feel the same way I do. The advice is completely meaningless. And why be against divorce? Does god think there's some way to profit from it? That marriage will be abused by people? Do you think people get married hoping to one day get a divorce? The proscription seems needlessly cruel to me.

  • @ananiasacts

You don't like these words because your basically against the source ( Jesus) Such words as let he who is without sin cast the first stone or don't point out the splinter in another mans eye when there's a beam in your own are flat out awesome-certainly we humans would be far better off if we followed these basic tenets- Its easy to deconstruct any moral tenet just bend it till it doesn't make since any more-can be done with anything really, easy game to play

  • @urheadonastick, they don't make sense to me is all. Nor to you. The morality you're trying to express without admitting it is called "the golden rule" and it is something that evolved because it enables us to communicate and cooperate. It's nothing more than a consequence of being able to imagine how someone else will feel about something we are contemplating doing or saying--what psychologists call a "theory of mind." We don't get any morality at all from the bible. Quite the reverse.

  • @ananiasacts

We don't get any morality at all from the bible Quite the reverse? you mean like the 10 commandments-thou shall not steal? lie? murder? cheat? covet thy neighbors wife?- I'm so glad you gave me a new found freedom with out them thanks!- Say could you tell me where you live where you keep your money and your wife's name- now that I'm freed up from these dusty old restrictions I'd like to come by and "visit".

  • @urheadonastick, the first and last commandments define "thought crimes." Do you really believe people can commit a crime just by thinking incorrectly? That's immoral.

  • @ananiasacts

Listen this is going nowhere and is a bit irritating so I'm bowing out respectfully-chow

  • @urheadonastick the "justice" system in america is twisted man. they say crime doesn't pay and make bank off of fining people! crime doesn't pay who? everything in this country is legal as long as your rich enough. look at OJ that motherfucker got away with murder. my brother violated his probation by shoplifting and has been in prison for 2 years.

  • @akatsukijuggalo

I agree with you on all counts.

  • @ananiasacts

Ugg another Christopher Hitchens lover- boozy old blowhard.

  • @urheadonastick, I value honesty and the courage to say exactly how we feel. Comments like this only make me think more highly of you.

  • @ananiasacts simply the idea. why is it so important to you to suggest that we cease to exist after our time on mother earth is finished? that logic works both ways my friend. jesus' teachings were def. worthwile even i cannot deny and im a christian skeptic. he taught to turn the other cheek, let he who is without sin cast the first stone. etc. basically the bible teaches good morales. now there is no proof of jesus' existence however but whoever roleplayed as jesus was pretty smart.

  • @akatsukijuggalo, I think he was an idiot. And what bothers me so much about religious people is that they're hypocrites of the worst kind. While they "claim" to believe in, and support, the freedom of religion, they deny that very right to their own children. There's no way for a young child to be critical of that sort of information. If you folks truly believed what you preach--that we must adopt the lord of our own free will--then you wouldn't indoctrinate children at all. That's evil.

  • @ananiasacts your entitled to your opinion about jesus. i don't even believe in jesus so doesn't matter to me at all. and yea your very right they do do that and its bullshit. my uncle made fun of me when i stopped going to church. he said i was "backstepping" like i was scared to give up my life. im like no im walking away because i refuse to give up what i believe in to be a circle chasing christian.

  • @akatsukijuggalo, I'm just pointing out that many of the things Jesus is purported to have said seem outright stupid to me. Like being against divorce. Gosh, the whole story makes no sense. First of all, why should we be punished for the crimes of Adam and Eve?!? What sort of god thinks children can inherit guilt? Is the bible trying to tell us that we must imprison 4 generations of the offspring of anyone convicted of a crime? (not sure why I remember that number.) It's just absurd stuff.

  • @ananiasacts

Divorce can be good for the individual but on large look what it has done to society as a hole- not pretty.

  • @urheadonastick, so? What's your point? Are you suggesting we outlaw it again and make people stay unhappily married simply "for the good of everyone else?" It doesn't make sense to me.

  • @ananiasacts

Nope even the bible made concessions to divorce and rightfully so- the deal nowadays is you get divorced if you find a pimple on your wife's ass- Extremes on anything to the left or right is usually bullshit.

  • @ananiasacts lol true. the bible is very contradicting.

  • @lizazoon

  • @lizazoon My heart breaks for you, the truth is light, and from your comments to me and urheadonastick i can tell you are blind and cannot see the light. You have no evidence, no openness, no wisdom. Its far from nonsense, you accuse accuse accuse and persecute but have no wisdom, no understanding. You say "studip creationists" "stupid dip****" "normal ignorant christian response", but what i see from your comments are that you really dont know what youre defending. I pray God will open your...

  • @777itisfinished I defend nothing but REASON COMMON SENSE and LOGIC.

  • @lizazoon ... eyes because the time is drawing near when he will take the light from this planet for seven years, and he will pour our his wrath on the sinners, the scoffers, the sexually immoral, the drunks, the druggies, the fools, and the haters, and my friend that defines you just like it defined me until very recently. God is real, you can deny it but all scientist say, "this may look designed but we must remember its not." They know God is real but they dont want to accept that because ...

  • @777itisfinished Nice comments, but please try to be a little more condescending towards a broad group of people you clearly don't understand.

  • @lizazoon ... if they do they have to change, and in the eyes of God they realize and understand that they deserve death and are ashamed of themselves, but are filled up with so much pride that they force themselves to not believe. The sad thing is, the proud will be humbled, and to be humbled by God is to have a wrath poured out on you, and a wrath like none other. I dont want you to be humbled by God, I want to see you ask God to help you humble yourself so then you can see and believe.

  • @777itisfinished Thanks for your homily. Now I can skip Sunday service.

  • @777itisfinished Also, I think that it's against your standards (i.e. the Ten Commandments) to lie. Evolution is a fact. Evolution happens. Animals in the natural world share common ancestor with each other. It has been confirmed by genetic data, the fossil record, and has been demonstrated with species today in the lab. The Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection just explains the method by which Evolution happens. It explains the millions of facts we have found supporting it. It is not a lie.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 But, youre wrong. Its not a fact, give me some evidence of an animal evolving from one species to the next. Give me a missing link fossil. Explain what was there before that tiny tiny dot exploded into our universe. Explain how when you take the human pop. growth equation and do it backwards it shows that about 4500 everyone came from 2 to 8 people. Explain how the moon gets farther and farther away from the planet each year and how you can only go so far back before the...

  • @777itisfinished I'll give you evidence of each thing you asked for, in the order you asked of it. The London Underground Mosquito has evolved from its aboveground cousin recently. Talkorigins (dot) org has a list of the many transitional fossils discovered to date. The concept of "before" our universe is invalid, because time didn't exist. You need there to be time before "before" is a valid concept. It's like asking what's deeper than the point at the center of the earth.

  • @777itisfinished The human growth population equation is an exponential function that does not take into account overpopulation, availability of food, geographic separation, disease, weather, and the changing lifespan of humans. Therefore it is not adequate in explaining the population trends of our species. A more accurate function would be a logarithmic function where the minimum horizontal asymptote would be zero and the max would be the maximum sustainable population.

  • @777itisfinished Extrapolate back using the moon's current rate, and you get a date of 1. something billion years. The problem is, the moon moved away slower the closer it is to the earth. Simple celestial mechanics. The farther away it is, the less force holding it closer to the earth. Use a variable velocity for the moon, and you get exactly when the moon was formed due to an early collision between two bodies in our solar system. The product was the Earth and a Moon.

  • @777itisfinished The conclusions of all the apropriate sciences concur. Evolution is as solid a theory as gravity. Get an education. You demand visible proof in your lifetime of a proces that takes millions of years, but you accept without evidence the writings of ignorant goat-herders from 3.000 years ago.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 ... moon explodes. Explain the second law of thermodynamics and how evolution is possible. It explains that everything dies out over time, yet evolution preaches everything gains knowledge and life over time. Evolution is a joke and i have just barely touched the tip of the tip of the tip of the surface. Look at the facts yourself, dont let your old professors or teachers or foolish philosophers tell you what to think, learn how to think on oyur own. Be a leader not a fool.

  • @777itisfinished The second law of thermodynamics states that in a closed system entropy increases. The earth isn't a closed system. We have a sun pumping heat into us, Which drastically decreases entropy in our earth. The second law does predict the death of the universe, but if you actually do the math, it is on the order of ten to the power of one undred years from now. It does not state that evolution can't happen. Got any more objections to the scientific method?

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 You didnt answer any of my questions, you just proved what i said about it saying everything dies down, loses information. Evolution is the gaining of info and life, exact opposites. Answer the rest of my questions, if you can answer them.

  • @777itisfinished No, I showed where you were making a false assumption. The entropy of a closed system always increases. The earth isn't a closed system. It is getting energy pumped into it from the sun, which decreases the entropy. Your same assumption would also imply that weather on the planet is impossible, because if entropy was increasing, there would be no wind, there would be no temperature difference, there would be no rain, etc. Clearly we can see otherwise. Reducto ad absurdium.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 What i said is that evolution teaches that things gain knowledge and information and life over time, while the 2nd law of thermodynamics states that everything dies out and loses information over time, whether it happens slowly or not is not the point. Thats all i said, then you ranted about stuff that isnt in debate. Show me the fossil record, show me the missing link fossils, the transitional fossils of species turning into species. Debunk the inverse population growth chart

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 ... If evolution were true you'd be able to blow my points right out of the water with tons of examples, like what i did with proving Christ Jesus was a real man and his life and everything about him was divine, he is divinity. But you have yet to do that.

  • @777itisfinished-- Evolution is a joke --- That`s why only 700 bona fide scientists, out of more than 450.000, stand behind creation. You call that a joke ??? Wouldn`t you do better, to go and study evolution before you display your ignorance over the internet ?

  • @lizazoon You have yet to show me any evidence for evolution, you have none except your numbers game, 700 vs 499,300, you lose! No, numbers dont tell truth, facts tell the truth. Maybe you need to start studying for yourself, you have yet to give me evidence and you keep saying im stupid or worse and that many scientist believe in evolution and since you dont believe what they ignorantly believe then youre stupid. Im sorry you have let a corrupt education destroy your own ability to reason.

  • @777itisfinished : You are even more stupid than I tought. One question. Did you really study evolution ? Have you ever considered asking evidence for the creation story ? How did this clump of mud come alive ?

  • @lizazoon And by the way, studying science and playing music is all i do, so dont be accusing when youre the one abusing.

God Bless you, I'll be praying for you

  • @777itisfinished You have an overactive imagination. Give me the bible prophecy that states the exact time and date of the crucifixion. Thank you. There are no fulfilled prophecies. Fulfilled horoscopes, yes. All those so called "prophecies" lack EXACT IRREFUTABLE data and have no more credibility as horoscopes.

  • @GaseousAnomaly001 The Case for Christ offers nothing new. It`s more or less preaching to the flock.

  • @lizazoon

The case for Christ offers plenty for the thinking mind -is it complete? no, does it answer all questions?no, but it is intriguing and it does hold a possibilities? certainly. I'm always weary of people like yourself that will sweep away the possibilities because its not 100% provable-

  • @777itisfinished He did not even fulfill the most important one about himself. The jews, very versed in the scriptures didn`t ( and still don`t) recognise the Messiah. That`s how accurate, evident, those so called "prophecies "are . LOL

  • @lizazoon

Right EVERYTHING is bullshit if it doesn't have exact irrefutable evidence- you should read Carl Young's Man and his Symbols and learn just how much so called evidence is worth and just what the limits of scientific inquire are, beyond it is religion, your getting the 2 tangled.

  • @urheadonastick I really start believing that, "you have your head on a stick."

  • @777itisfinished --He fulfilled 300 plus messianic prophesies that historians, archaeologists, and scientist back up. -- You have an overactive imagination. Those 300 plus messianic prophecies, are so vague, that even those, for whom those prophecies were intended in the first place, didn`t recognise him and still don`t. Those so called "prophecies" have no more credibility as horoscopes.

  • @777itisfinished all prophecy. biblical a s well as all other, is plain nonsense. They all lack EXACT IRREFUTABLE data.

  • Barney Rubble with brown hair.

  • If he was a skeptic then I'm superman.

  • The bible could be one of the least credible documents in the world. It was subject to countless revisions, to appeal powerful individuals and leaders. Not only that, but it is littered with contradictions, so how could it possibly have a divine origin? If he really analyzed it throughly he would know this. This faggot doesn't prove anything, he merely makes statements we're supposed to believe, with no evidence provided.

  • @ClickThisUser The bible is the same today as it was when it was written .....they have the original scrolls for both old and new testament...it is not my opinion it is face....as far as contradictions........to one who doesnt read and attempt to understand the bible often times contradictions appear....but for one who has knowledge ther is no contradiction....do you have a specific contradiction ?

  • there wasnt a single thing proven in this video. lolz. total money making scam by this punk ass. wake up you dumb fucking christians, you are getting taxed for being an idiot.

  • ya know whats funny, he will criticize atheists for not reading the bible but he won't criticize believers for believing in something they have never read

  • @theloveshineatheist i think he wud

    he shud anyways

  • google Doe's Account.

  • do a quick search for "the hookerman" ghost stories, you will find believers of these stories throughout the country yet, strangely the majority of us know this is false, now take this to a less educated area and more people are going to believe, strobel once again with epic fail.

  • You people are all philosophers and scientist i believe. But you have no idea of God.

  • It really does amaze me. Grown-ups....seemingly educated people...believe this utter nonsense. Lee Strobel is so hard to watch. It's really unbelievable how people take this crap to heart.

  • @72locodude its fucked is'nt it

  • @72locodude my friend gave me one of his books signed by him....ughhhhhhhhh

  • There is not a single archeological finding which supports the Book of Exodus. None -- Nothing. He knows that. Therefore -- he is a liar. The "credentials" of the Bible are laughable.

  • I totally agree.

  • @irisheye801

yes there is in hyroglyfs (lol bad spelling) where Ramses talks about hebew slaves

  • sorry friend. you are dead wrong. You must be thinking of Yule Brenner who played Ramses in the "Ten Commandments". The Pharoah in Exodus is not identified by name so there is no telling who the Pharoah it was referring to and there are no Hyroglyphs referring to the enslaved nation of Israel.

  • The 4th-century historian Eusebius identified the Pharaoh of the Exodus as Ramesses II (1290-1223 BC or 1279-1213 BC) of the 19th Dynasty. Most scholars seem to favor him, but many suggest his father Seti I. The Merneptah Stele (1208 BC) mentions "Israel" by name as already in Canaan, so it seems unlikely if Ramesses's son Merneptah I or any Pharaoh afterward is the Pharaoh of the Exodus.

  • So then you agree -- absolutely no evidence of the Exodus in the archeological record and no hyroglyphs making reference to the Israelites in Egypt. So why do we let idiots like Strobel blather on when he know damn well he is wrong and misleading people?

  • I believe that moses who wrote the pentatuch was inspired by God, accurate and historiacally corect, I think the egyptians wrote of the hebrew slaves too I am no expert though

  • That's not the point. You can believe what you want to believe - but Strobel is saying there is positive, archeological evidence for the book of Exodus and he is dead wrong and he knows it. This is how religious untruths are propogated. False statements are repeated over and over until the untruth of the statement is erroded away.

  • I agree in that false statements are repeated in this world over and over and after a while the programming is set and it becomes fact,

    the earth is flat

the sun revolves around the earth

man will never set foot on the moon

man evolved from apes etc etc etc lies repeated become truths, I am glad we agree on that, however I dont believe the old testament is one of them, I believe it all.

good chatting and debating , please feel free to friend me if you want, look forward to chatting again!

  • The egyptians did in fact write about the exodus, I believe it's called the kolbrin bible of all things. But it's the egyptians account of the exdous, and how they fell away from their god afterwards :)

  • @Jesussavestheday2day The exodus is pure NONSENSE. If you read the story of the exodus in the bible, and you truly believe this can have happened, all I can do is suggest a good psychiatrist.

  • @lizazoon : 500.000 israelites roamed the desert for 40 years. The average lifespan was no longer than 45 years. 400.000 must have died during that trip. WHERE are the graves ? WHERE are the bones ? Nothing was ever found. The desert sand is excellent to preserve everything. Exodus is childish nonsense.

  • @lizazoon

If all the bone from all the animals that died in the desert still existed they would be a mountain of bones thousands of feet high.Try to use your head for more than a coat rack.

  • @urheadonastick : Yes sir. try to use your head for more than a coat rack. Why were ample relics of Bedouin activity found in the desert, but none from israelites ? Use your fucked-up brainwashed brain if possible .

  • Comment removed

  • @urheadonastick ; NOTHING was ever found "douchebag" no bones, no graves, no trinckets, nothing. Those 500.000 isrealites wandered for 40 years in an erea no bigger than New-Jersey and left no trace. MIRACLE !!!!!!!!!!!!
