St Thomas is a gang infested shithole. Wasnt long ago that a little kid was shot in the head and killed off a cruise ship when they were riding in a cab. Its not like it was 10 years ago. You are also likely to get robbed if you venture too far away from port.
The gangs there are nothing but shit. Dont waste your money on this bullshit Island. St Thomas is also the HIV capital of the Caribbean (if you dont count Haiti).
