this song just lifts my spirit. My mother was killed in a car accident four days after my college graduation. My mother was all that I had, i could have been a crazy woman walking the street about to lose her mind. But, I thank God for special people in my life that was and still is praying for me. I also thank GOD for my pastor.

It's funny. This song seems to have a life of it's own. As he continually sings it, especially with other artist whom say things, the more verses and parts get added to it. It's similar to the Clark Sister's songs You Brought the Sunshine & Hallelujah. Like a snowball rolling down hill it picks up and collects as it goes. It is rare to have songs like that. Donnie was blessed to be able to do write it.

If I don't get a chance to see Pastor Donnie singing on this life I'm sure I will see him singing in heaven. The Lord delight's Himself on Pastor Donnie"s praise. If he ever come to Chicago I want to go and listen to him alive. Otherwise, I will see him singing in heaven for many many years
This song was a real blessing to us as a family when my Dad died suddenly. There were days when this song was just constantly on repeat in the background. when he first came to London as Pastor Matthews guest for GOTC, Donny's testimony was an inspiration and that voice! WOW! Most of all this man is a humble servant of God. Thanks for posting this version.

I've come to learn that funerals are for the living. And death has nothing to do with those who have served Him and are going to meet him! My heart goes out to Sapp Family who will miss the presence of their loved one here on earth. But I celebrate MaLinda as she is now laughing and smiling and in the company of our Father and her brother and Savior, Christ! Go girl!
I like that you said that funerals are for the living. Just looking at the crowd of people just tells you that this lady was somebody special to a lot of people. Even those who didn't know her came just to show love and support to her husband and family. I can recall a funeral where so few attended. I was really young at the time and I asked my mom about that real small crowd. Her response to me was "Watch how you live and how you treat people. You'll live your funeral."

This song was a real blessing to us as a family when my Dad died suddenly. There were days when this song was just constantly on repeat in the background. when he first came to London as Pastor Matthews guest for GOTC, Donny's testimony was an inspiration and that voice! We all have sin and came short of God's grace and mercy but you've taken the first step to ask for forgiveness. I wished that I had the sense that you had at 16 but it took me till I'm almost 40. I've come to learn that funerals are for the living. And death has nothing to do with those who have served Him and are going to meet him! My heart goes out to Sapp Family who will miss the presence of their loved one here on earth. I like that you said that funerals are for the living. Just looking at the crowd of people just tells you that this lady was somebody special to a lot of people. Even those who didn't know her came just to show love and support to her husband and family. I can recall a funeral where so few attended. I was really young at the time and I asked my mom about that real small crowd. Her response to me was "Watch how you live and how you treat people. You'll live your funeral."
