You don't know how to critically evaluate what is and what is not a cult, but this is common. Look up "Hassan BITE analysis" to educate yourself on sociological cults.

After I left being pentecostal, I went from domination to denomation of Christianity looking for the truth. I know you probably will reject what I'm saying, but Rev. @dubvishun I guess you can call it a cult, but the reason why infantry shave their heads is usually before deploying, so if they come in close contact with the enemy their hair cant be pulled it expose their throat. Not everyone has to shave their heads completely all the time, just for training.
With sleep it is to prepare them for long days on the field, patrolling with a night after no sleep because you got the shit shelled out of you.

If all factors have to apply than neither the UC (at any point in its history) or the Catholic church are cults. If some parts apply here and there than both can be considered cults. As you would know, since you are familiar with the BITE model, the latter applies. Parts of the BITE model can be applied to both the UC and the Catholic church.

Yes, Hitler surely had such racist reasons. But Stalin, Mao and the like saw religion as opium, acc to Marx, and thus wanted to eliminate it.
All of these mass murderers have ONE thing in common: They did not believe in God and thus did not believe in good and evil. They themselves dicided what is good. Moral relativism has caused the death of far more then 100 Million people.

what i am saying is that people who dont believe in absolute values can easily justify everything, as it happened with tyranns like Hitler and Stalin and others. they made themselves God and were not bothered by their conscience.

at first I didn't really believe this video. thinking it was a simply eaggration of facts. then I read some of the moments made by the "moonies" on here. yep, this guy is a cult leader 100% I"m not sure about the whole 'buying a seat on air force one' thing, but I wouldn't put it past the guy.

@brunoklotz did you not see the part where I mentioned I didn't believe what the video was saying at first, and it was only through listening to the mindless ramblings of his followers that i believed he was a cult leader? and I have study all of the teachings porvided on that state, (if you can call stating why you are the messiah teachings, rather then a statement) and they are all flawed at best. first off, he claims to get guidence from budha, who told people not to worship him.

He has never said that he gets guidance from Bhudda. Rather Buddha gets guidance from the Messiah. That makes more sense to me. Buddha supports him, though.

@brunoklotz it says on the front page of the " his teachings" section of his site. it's says, and I quote, "on serveral occasionshe was guided directly by abraham, moses, jesus, mohammed, budha and other saints and sages of all religions."
this statement along raises I muriad of questions. if he recieves guidence from sages of all religions then that means every religion is true, who can that possibly be true?

Rev Moon since ages says, that all religions are ONE big family, and that God works through all of them, and all of them have the responsibility to help to bring about the Kingdom of God. The core of all religions is pretty much the same. Its because they are all from God. They all are true in their core, but none of them expresses the complete truth.

@brunoklotz I'm not talking about "in their core" I'm talking about the gods of islam co-exsisting with budha, who also co-exsists with jesus christ; who claims that he is the only true messiah, and to have no other gods before him. too many religions have claimed to be "the one true religion" so they can't all be true. if there are multiple true religion then any religion claiming to be "the one true religion" is false, including chirstianity. do you see where I'm going with this?

There are no Gods in Islam, but only one God. The same in Christianity. And we are talking about one and the same God. Only one calls him Allah, the other one calls him God. Allah actually means God. And Jesus was the Messiah, Mohammed, Buddha, Confucius and others were prophets. I dont see a contradiction in this.
In spirit world already the religions are united. They are all working together, supporting Gods providence on earth, with the Lord of the second Advent in the center.
