I never got why Yondaime decided to use the certain seal that would bring death to himself, just so Kushina could see Naruto for a few minutes after death. Which, anyway, could have been avoided. Because by dying, he not only endangered Konoha by leaving it for the old, ready to die soon 3rd Hokage, but also endangered it by leaving his son to fend alone, allowing anger to boil in him because of all those years alone.

Minato knew that, and it was too much for him to battle the nine-tails by himself, So he sealed half of the nine-tail's power in himself, and sealed the Yin energy into Naruto, so that he'd have the power to continue on.....

You know, that doesn't make any sense to me either. It's in the script. XD

@Sesshomaruslover001 Couldn't he just do that with a different seal? He used a dead-demon seal so he could fuse the last of Kushina's chakra into Naruto, but that kind of seal kills the user. And anyway, wouldn't the nine-tails regenerate its yang chakra over time? And if yin is the lighter kind of energy(?) then why isn't it the nice side of the fox in Naruto? Because if this is his good side, I'd sure HATE to get on his bad side!

@Luckyclaw7 I think you're looking too deep into this. Firstly, if the writers had made it that easy, this wouldn't be Naruto The suffering made Naruto a stronger person in the end. It's Part of the character, without it, he wouldn't be who he is. Secondly, as I said, it's in the script.
