Thanks for the info...I have the Vintage Victor Lps, too. Maybe RCA speed-corrected this release as Victors from '25 and '26 should be played at 76.59rpm.

is this one speed corrected to NOT play at 78.26rpm? It sounds pitch correct at a speed much slower than 78...

@VTMCompany You have a very keen ear. I believe it is correctly pitched. This is actually an unissued take (BVE-37367-3) that was released on LP for the RCA Vintage Series in the 1960s. I have the original 78 as well (BVE-372267-2), but it's in very poor condition and it does run about 3.5 seconds shorter. If you listen carefully, there are some other subtle differences in the two takes.

Must be the Ben Pollack band the girls are standing in front of in this clip, cuz Wayne Allen (my uncle & their piano player on this You Tube piece) was in that band in 1926 too. Uncle Wayne roomed with 2 other members of Pollack band...Benny Goodman (17 yrs old) and Glenn Miller (22). The sisters recorded another cute tune with the Pollack boys on Victor records called "He's The Last Word". They were all "the cat's meow"; "the bee's knee's" and certainly "the last word" in the roaring 20's!

@cowboycartoonist Very interesting that it is your uncle playing piano on this recording. Sometimes it hard to believe that Goodman and Miller were just kids when they started. I'd bet your uncle had many stories to tell. That photo you are referring to is actually the Roger Wolfe Kahn band. They were filming a short Vitaphone movie (1927) featuring the Williams Sisters.  I understand the film is lost but the sound track is somewhere in the Library of Congress archives.
