  • Tax the hell out of those rich! $1.63 from a $2,000,000.00 prize, Democrats haven't changed in 75 years!

  • That has to be Joe Daugherty doing Porky's voice because it doesn't sound like Mel Blanc at all.

  • The first cartoon that Mel Blanc ever voiced. And the rest is history.

  • thanks

  • Main got the porky is incredible funny. Me tronchar of smiles and carcajades.

  • W.C. Fields Definitely reminds me of Grumpy from Snow White.

  • Took me a little research, but Caliban and Ariel do make a little sense. They are characters in Shakespeare’s "The Tempest", and John Barrymore was a Shakespearian actor.

  • Pip Pip! Cherrio!

  • @Mocalous The characters (besides Porky and those you've mentioned) are: Charlie Chaplain, Greta Garbo (feet), Charles Laughton (Captain Bligh), Boris Karloff, Stepin Fetchit (knee action special), the Brits in the Cheerio Special are: George Arliss, Leslie Howard and Freddie Bartholomew. Caliban & Ariel (which makes no sense) are John Barrymore & Elaine Barrie. --pop culture of 1937--

  • I Know you have Laurel & Hardy, W.C. Fields, Edna May Oliver, and Clark Gable characterized here, but who are the rest?

  • Respectful correction: This is not Mel Blanc's voice doing Porky. It sounds like Joe Daugherty, who real-life stutter made WB hire Blanc.
