  • @seanmaln yes, 10 carriages pulled by one truck in Leonora, Western Australia. (mining truck, private roads)

4 trailer roadtrains are common in Australia.

  • @rcroadtrain wow awesome. well I dont see many as I live across the ditch in New Zealand but I want to movie to Western Australia

  • This is Australia

Welcome to the reality of it

These tricks cross 1000s ks per day

Rail ways are to hard and too expensive to build that long with that many

Ps they drive only on remote s out back places that have dirt roads

  • Why they are riding mostly in America? In europe- Nothing like this

  • @wdowa94 I think this is from Australia.

  • @wdowa94

simple, they have SPACE, lots of it, and this is aussie :)

  • @Xantec Miles and miles of fuck all, written MAMOFA on the maps :)

  • how this get paid is us dollar cause this shit is bad ass

  • long truck world.. oh yea?

  • Como se llama la cancion?' (the song name??)

  • Lets have the truth you colonial people doubles triples and quads are not allowed everywhere .When i was in Adelaide i only saw doubles..Ps the lager is too cold

  • Hmm, thanks for the info. Not what I thought. How fast (max speed) theyre allowed, and how much they're paid, by the hour or by the mile? Canada has allowed 2 53-footer since last year, and they're only allowed to run along 401 highway (the 600km stretch from Quebec to US border). My hats off to you guys Aussie road train. If it were me, I would not buy nothing big, like a house etc, unless I could pay cash lol I mean, chances of accident way lot more than driving a single or simple B-train

  • @truckabc i dont know exactly but we drove up to mt Isa on a 3 day trip last holidays. We were going 110km an hour with a trailer with our 4WD (not that the trailer lasted the whole way o.O) and we were passing the trucks every so often.... i would say about 100kmh max or so.. heh.. funny story... in winton we were in a store and saw a picture of a REALLY long road train. it was the GWRecord.. about 50 carriages i think... we lolled at it and the lady at the counter got really angry...

  • all of this footage is filmed by a bloke called bruce honeywell in australia he does excellent dvds. and kenworth australia do there own dvd's on roadtrains also. they all can be brought online, but the yanks will have to order the ntsc format, otherwise you will get them in pal format, and your t.v. or dvd player may not be able to play them. if your into trucks you will love them they are awesome, rather listen to a 600 cat pulling 400,00lbs than the dixie chicks anyday....

  • This shows that you can't beat the aussie in semis

  • Do Aussie drivers feel overworked and under paid, or do they wear a smirk and walk with a swagger, knowing they haul 7 times as much as us Yank know it alls?! I wish I could hire a few of you to ship up to America and show us how its done. Because politicians don't watch youtube. Unless it has thier face on it. Good Show.

  • terrible song choice

  • contact your rep, we need road trains! :)

best vid of road train i have ever seen

    you are fucking good dude

  • the US dept of transportation would have a fit ahaha

  • @OMGItsWeasel So would the Ministry of Transport here in the UK

  • @bmwnasher leave it to those wild prison colonists to do some outrageous shit huh? haha

  • Comment removed

  • chiodovideo = numero 1

  • I wonder how the drivers get paid. Also , probably the terrain has to be level, no uphill or downhill, or the whole thing will roll over easily

  • @truckabc

They drive from Darwin to Adelaide, from Broken Hill to Pillbara iron which is thousands of miles between destination and start point and has plenty of steep hills and corners.

1st rule of the road--Road trains have all right on the roads

2nd rule--make sure you follow the first rule.

They are only allowed by law to drive 12 hrs.

  • they look great, I hope to go to Australia in next couple of months and see them:-)

  • That's me driving the UTO 3B, where did you find the video, there's stuff there I've never seen before.

  • Not memory exuses
