  • Can you please tell me, what are the cheap(ish) alternatives for that pedal?

  • Where did you bought it from?

  • "a certain...uhhh...uhmmmmm muse bass player pedalboard..."

    OK dude......

  • Sounds like Johnny Rotten trapped in a box.

  • cool

  • Gawd this is so sexy.

  • Hi, nice job!

Which pedal do you think is similar to this one?? It's so hard to find it!

  • What bass is that?

  • where do you have this pedal? :)

  • Man, you can be a hero to the world if you make couple of photos of the scheme.

Lots of people want to know what is inside this box. We can wire It by ourselves!

  • @alxgvr There are photos on my website bassfuzz.com, but you'll find this pedal disappointing as it's internals are housed inside little black-boxes that are sealing in goo.

  • This video doesn't do any justice to this pedal once so ever.. mine sounds awesome and it is my new favorite pedal, I'm glad i made the risk to buy this pedal, i was hoping it didn't sound anything like this video made it sound :)

  • @ibanez0830 I'm a hack to be sure. You can hear the raw tone, you can hear the altered tone. If you are a badass it will sound badass when raw and still badass when activated. The actual sound of the pedal is something between those two states... and all I have to say is... OVERRATED by Fanboys.

  • It's like all the other pedals are pointing and laughing. Even the SFT

  • i just bought mine, i posted a video of me opening it, later this week i will be posting a review and testing it out

  • how much does it cost?

  • @AtkinsToms usually anywhere from 400-500 US dollars

  • bassfuzzcom have you ever tried to combine the russian big muff with the animato?

  • Pro Co Juggernaut can be similar to aminato distortion? bassfuzzcom could be a next video demonstration :D... however great youtube channel...

  • @fuzzconn My experience with the Juggernaut leads me to the conclusion that NO, it doesn't. You'd have better luck with a regular rat. Demo is coming soon.

  • Apparently this is the key to Chris Wolstenholme's sound, as well as 2 Big Muff Pi's.

  • @platinumdynamite and more he has so much shit its not fair to people with less than minimum wage jobs

  • @yomammaonastick Not fair?

  • that pedal is fkin wank but hes a good player

  • are you going direct, or are you using an amp and a mic?

In the first 5 minutes I mean, direct to soundcard, Hi-Z in???

  • are you going direct, or are you using an amp and a mic?

  • Sounds kinda awful. The tone at around 8:00 is ok, but nothing that many other distortion pedals can't do. Most of the time it just sounds like a bass run through a practice guitar amplifier.

  • I can't think of any reason to use this pedal on bass without bi-amping or clean blend.

  • Have you still got this pedal?

  • ok, this pedal is so rare that i will probabley never own one, what would you recommend that sounds closest to it?

  • Rat?

  • Any particular one? cheers

  • @guitarist993

From what I've heard, Hardwire Tube OD is pretty close too

  • what model is that sovtek?

  • MIG 100

It's also for sale, I want to move to something a bit more traditional.

  • I have read or Se so many bass fuzz reviews, now i sing the main song... tutu tuuuu, tu tu tuuuuu....

    Ho no :(

  • someone should tab that all out and post it on the main page...

  • Sounds pretty terrible...

  • You did an overview instead of a review of the pedal because its pretty "simple" right? if thats the case I've got 2 questions:

1: what would be your reviewing score for it?

    2: adding to the collection?)

  • Well, I'm also lazy. I may keep full reviews to just fuzz stuff for awhile until I 'feel it'.

    1) Overall: 6

    2) No

  • Yes, there will be.

  • you realis eyou could be rich if you sold all those pedals you have? you don't need all of them....? lol

  • He does sell a lot of them. One of them he recently sold to me, in fact.

Also, pedal collecting/reviewing is one of his favorite hobbies. If those were basses he was planning to review lined up there, would you still hit him with "surely you don't need all of them?"

Relevant to video: It does sound pretty unique. Perhaps it sounds a tad more nasal with the switch in the right position?

  • Oh right ok, fair point. I thought he had reviewed them all, my bad.

  • I keep only a narrow selection of all the pedals I review, unique ones that I think I either I use currently, or think I might use in the future.

  • MUST ... HAVE
