i have a question.... yesterday i was singing for like a couple hours strait, and near the end of me singing my voice completely stopped cracking near the upper mid range where my voice cracks. how can i get my voice to do that again?

He is showin this kid to allow his head voice to take over....now alot of people dont understand this concept because, "why would my that soft part of my voice have anything to do with its strength?" but it is actually easier to learn going down and the best singers connect down instead of up because it takes that soft part of your voice and allows you to sing every note through that lightness.Pushing harder to get higher will get you nowhere. DONT SECOND GUESS BRETT!!!

@callinthecaptian Get the regular program first its like basic math while Mastering Mix is like algebra but once you are done with the basics the algebra will be much easier!!!

You are giving SLS too much credit. Please quit acting like SLS is anything new, or even addresses all the things you mention. You mention a few things that people do without any voice training at all. And please, did you become an SLS teacher? Look what it takes, a few exercises that treat everyone as if they have a problem with the height of their larynx, and what 8 hours a year of one hour lessons? That makes you a voice teacher? Please! You don't know enough to be speaking on SLS "mwthod."

Yes it is. I learned SLS. And you don't know what you are talking about so PLEASE don't try to get into a discussion with me. Move on. Every single singer doesn't have a problem with their larynx. To treat everyone as if they sing with a higher then normal larynx is foolish. There are so much more things to work on then the one fixation that is a throwback from opera.

SLS is just a few exercises taken from the classical technique that alot of people use and learn in college. Nothing new, in fact, the few exercises target just lowering the larynx, which is not always what someone, esp pop singers, need. Been there-done that and moved on- like most SLS students.

im just starting the complete 17 disc of brett manning singing success and i would definatley say no because thats why i started using the singing success cause i would do that and i would be fine the next day and it was fine but when my voice started maturing i started noticing the problems so i would definitley say its not really a good idea eccpecially if you dont have 225 dollars to get the program lol

I just got 12 cd and a ..like 19 page manual of singing success.. hmm does your 17 disc also have video? I just wanted to know cause 5 discs are a big difference and mines just audio? i dunno mines 12 cds but I hope it will do :D that and lots of practice

no, because even if you're a professional singer you also need to enhance your singing techniques for better singing.

that's detrimental to any progress, doing these practices makes you able to sing virtually all day because your voice is warmed up beforehand, and you'll be able to consistently sing the way you sang those 4 hours without losing control. i have gone on tour and had shows with my band every other day, these help a LOT
