Fuck! Although not the main Boss, The Mad Hatter was the hardest boss in the game and the Music throughout his whole level was epic and this piece couldnt have been more appropriate for The Final fight with the hatter himself
How come the mad hatter is not on the cover for this game? Maybe the makers wanted to surprise us with a freakin hard boss. though one his places was on the back cover, but it was the cat! Not a freakin jumping gnome with one leg, and a dude in hat with moving floors with cards sticking up!!!!!!
To the lovers of this song; a guy called JMixerProductionz on Youtube did a really, really cool remix of this song. It's a mashup between Lady Gaga's Love Game and this song. I detest Lady Gaga, but that's a really sweet mashup that guy did. Check it out! Search 'space love jmixerproductionz', it's seriously actually good.

@HarpoTheVillain I actually checked that out. I LOATHE Lady Gaga but that was actually pretty good and it surprisingly meshed well unlike most other mashups. Still prefer the original though.

@vittimac66 Harsh words. Anything to back them up with? I detest Lady Gaga as an artist, but the vocals and poisonous lyrics do work well with this song. It creates a very, very gritty and dark track where two parts become one. It's very industrial and harsh, and I love that. An effective mash-up. It reminds me of Crystal Castles in a great way.
Just noticed this today, the floor doesn't start until after the beat drop.I think Jesper watched the game while he made the soundtrack.That's incredible.
I never got the attraction to Yesper Kyd. His compositions are pretty repetitive and loopy, like old techno. The different loops don't flow together..
That and.. you've got some DAC channels to work with.. FM drums just aren't the same.
Ahhh thise game....ahhh ahh. Its from my chilhood and u know i still got it like i got my sega genessis.thise things are just awesome and they got too much value for me.. I would not exchange them for nothing. They r just one of my dear favourite things sinse i was a kid
i remember, i was like 6 and played this at about 10 at night, it freaked me out and when i got him to 10% and he started goin backwards..i noticed the lil face in the path and it made me shit myself

This game along with bare knucles III, biohazard and revenge of the shinobi probably got the best soundtracks I ever heard on mega drive :P

Trick is to get green powerups, and beat him early. A prolonged fight with him is deadly.

I hated the Mad Hatter when I first fought him. However, once you learn the pattern of oncoming obstacles, it's a cake walk.
