Music is so nice that I have no words to describe it.

All I want is keep singing all my life and I would like that you guys support me.

Please stop by my channel and check out my covers, that’s all I need.

I’ll Be so grateful If you support me.

    Thank Of all you!

  • Guy guy guy........never lost their magic.

  • Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis weren't the only one working that Roland T 808 drum machine back then....sick beat!!!

  • damn i grew up on this music., and soon be 39years old. if they could make vids like they can these days maybe they would have ate a little more and got their bodies together a little better. im just saying.!? still a fan.

  • NJS Forever:-)

  • AUTO-TUNES B4 T-PAIN LOL

  • this guy knows his music, he worked with MJ on the dangerous album on some killer songs.

  • High school+Michele+86 Mitshubishi Galant+Guy Album+=GOOD MEMORIES!

  • at 2:23, i dont know what teddy was sayin through that vocoder but it sounded funky as hell so im not mad at ya.

  • Teddy Riley is the greatest producer in the industry.

  • Teddy Riley and Guy are the best group and producers to come out of New York City. They set it off for 1988 and 1991.

  • I can't believe Gene Griffin had the nerve to show his grimey ass face in this video!! He was such a crook!! If you blinked you missed him. He was the bald headed old guy in the sh*t brown suite.

  • @cooolairrr LOL!!!!!

  • yep yep

  • @mommyluvsherboyz not hating just speaking truth on TR's production style...he still is GREAT AND ONE MY FAVS...

  • this vid is the reason why I bought the Roland DDR30drum kit, (stupid"yeah I know"!)

  • My Sister and I used to play this tape to death in 1988-89! Ahhh, the memories!!

  • @purplegurl79

    88 & 89 ???

you sure you got your dates right ?

  • @djfrijoles This is mid-88

  • @srekal88 Uhmm.....your bad, Cinereps was askin who Gene Griffin was in the video.

  • they shouldnt broke up

  • @cinereps....Gene Griffin ,Producer/Teddy Riley's Mentor also Basic Black's producer, Why You Gettin Funky on Me

  • @caselaron1 Teddy did the beats.....Gene put his name on it

  • @hustletv NO vevo is shit

  • It's the bassline that does it for me that keeps me on my feet dancing. However, Aaron's voice sounded too phasy - the recording engineer fucked up with that part of the record.

  • Who is that guy at 1:32? I see him in almost all of the earlier Guy videos.

  • @Cinereps I think that's Teddy's daddy.

  • @Cinereps Shake, their choreographer.

  • @Cinereps thats Gene Griffin

  • This is one of those non stop partying songs for a lifetime.

  • up an' down side to side everythins gonna be allright

oh yeah, it it ain't over!

  • awesome electric drums

  • Just saw them in concert last night with After 7, some of New Edition (Ralph, Bobby, Johnny and Ricky (one song).... They're the TRUTH!

  • I knew at the time the music I liked was the best.........and it still is!

  • i like this mix better than the cd version. was this ever on cd? does anybody know?

  • Guy was my favorite group from 1988 till about 1991. In that time period they put out alot of good music and their first self titled album is a classic. It's a shame how the era when there was so much good music unfortunately these groups didn't last. I wil still dispute today that Aaron Hall was the real R. Kelly. he was supposed to get all that exposure that Kells got

  • @MrKevin619ism Ahhh MrKevin619ism U R so so CORRECT! U can hear Aaron Hall all in R Kelly's sound and before Aaron.....I wanna say there is Charlie Wilson! But U hit it correct!

  • @ladycat629

Charlie Wislon and the Gap band influenced Aaron hall's singing and Guy's music. That's why Charlie Wislon sometimes sings Guy's songs in concert.

  • Still one of the best albums of all time

  • Attention...Attention! As of Monday, August 23, 2010, Aaron Hall, Damion Hall and Teddy Riley have reunited to release a fourth album and will be performing at the Gibson Amphitheater in Los Angeles on October 24, 2010! They're baaaaack and they're going to change the face of R&B AGAIN!

  • I see where Teddy Riley stole the bassline for Bobby Brown's "My Prerogative"... from HIMSELF. Lol. Hell, both songs came out the same year, so I really don't know. I bought this album for the first time somewhere in the 2000s, so I rather recently just got into this album. But this is one of my least favorite songs on it. I wonder why they even made a video for it. It's not a bad song, but just not as unique or charismatic as "Groove Me", "You Can Call Me Crazy" or "Teddy's Jam".

  • @xXxsweetiebooxXx Teddy didn't steal it, Teddy created it. lol He produced for nearly everyone in the 90's... The New Jack Swing era. Listen to " New Jack Swing" by Wrecks N Effect... Teddy will name his artists...Some of them anyway.

  • @geminigem75

Yeah, that's why I said "...he stole it from HIMSELF" in big, bold caps. Lol. It's true. Teddy had a tendency to steal melodies from himself. It's especially evident when you compare Spend the Night" from Guy and "Wanna Get With U" from The Future. Practically the same song.

  • @xXxsweetiebooxXx How did he steal something when it was his? Most producers reuse melodies, chords or piano loops that is nothing new so i don;t see how is that stealing something it's his songs. He produced My Prerogative.

  • @xXxsweetiebooxXx No the baseline for my prerogative is a sample this is probably too most of teddy s early stuff has samples in it. Also listen to the Album version of this song its way better the way the beat is in the video version does not hard enough for me.

  • @wiltisdabest umm unless im mistaken the only stuff teddy sampled when he produced was SOME of the hip hop beats he did to my recollection 95% of the rnb beats he did were original teddy didnt start samplin when he did rnb beats untill the mid to late 90s ..i could be wrong but i think ur mistaken...

  • @brownone75 No much of his stuff is sampled even this that melody is a merry go round melody and my prerogative drums are sampled blackstreets first album booti call, goodlife, u blow my mind, and no diggity and don't leave. But what i mean is he doesn't sample the whole beat just a part of it like the drums or a hit and sometimes melody it's hard to tell on some of his stuff but he makes it way better he doesn't just straight jack shit like some artist he borrows and builds upon it he the best

  • @wiltisdabest yup....he builds on ideas...My Perogative is basically a remake of a song called Remote Control by the Reddings.... Look up a song called Show Me Where Youre Coming From by Carrie Lucas.

  • @wiltisdabest yup....he builds on ideas...My Perogative is basically a remake of a song called Remote Control by the Reddings.... Look up a song called Show Me Where Youre Coming From by Carrie Lucas. Also the song We Got Our Own Thing samples CJ and Co., agroup who made a song called We Got Our Own Thing

  • @wiltisdabest yup....he builds on ideas...My Perogative is basically a remake of a song called Remote Control by the Reddings.... • everything in this video is brilliant.

  • Good music! Good times! Notice back then the women were fully clothed..lol

  • @Starrlite77

    AND STILL LOOKED HOT!

  • @Starrlite77 Yea but at that time is was more revealing and taboo than 20 years before that

Maybe in 2030 people will look at 2010 vids and say "fully clothed". Its just nostalgia, and everyone will have their favorite Decades of music. The 90's just happen to be the best LOL

90's kid in the 2010's, and lovin every minute of it!!

  • Does anyone know the name of the one background dancer, the light skinned brutha? He used to be in a lot of vids during that period.
