most graphics cards issues are because the fan on the card is running at 25% instead of 100%. Use Rivatuner to increase the fan speed to 100% and you will most likely see all this stuff disappear.

Nah, I was using the drivers that came on the CD, problems gradually start occuring anyway. Its only when theres a problem that I do something, and it was a long time ago, but i dont recall using beta drivers, only released

After 10 months or so problem was intollerable, I RMA'd the card. Got a diff card, all is good :)

I say those MSI Nvidia Geforce 7900GT cards are junk, youll see many postings out there with the same prob with THAT card

no i had the same problem but when i installed the drive my game works fine. you need to check that which window are you using you need to match the driver

It's not matching anything now, its in newegg's dumpster and meanwhile they sent me a newer better card and i still had additional store credit spend from that return :)

That said, with all due respect I know how to handle driver changes and it was all done correctly, I've been doing pretty much it forever with all my machines.

Why do I say card? Because in my research on this issue, many people were having that exact problem with this exact model of video card. I don't believe in coincidences.

I think this problem is similar to the splinter cell double agent problem (anything in the 8 series or higher has alot of glitches). I think your card may be too good for the game or you need to update your drivers. Make sure you uninstall the old ones before you install the new ones.

hello, i have nvidia card too and it makes me the same problem and more other problems. It does only nvidia cards from FX series chip by year 2002, dont buy any nvidia products..

That was my theory exactly, the RAM on the card being fooked and all.

BTW, I should have mentioned but forgot this one detail: You know its the card when while booting up you get random (and LARGE) pixels splattered on the screen during post, long before any operating system, much less a driver has loaded. And you know its the card when you put a new one in, and its fine.

Seeing as how it's a mod, it could be a problem with the mod itself.

You need to update your graphics drivers from the Nvidia website.

This mod has worked fine for years, even on this card when I first got it. Also, I've tried many many versions of the drivers, latest ones, early ones, no change whatsoever. I replaced the video card with another, no more problems. Sadly, it was the card. I have RMA'ed the thing and have subsequently learned there are many users of this card experiencing the exact same symptoms.
