if i were to studying in a UK university, and I wanted to do an exchange year at Temple university, will that be possible???, even if the university doesn't have any conexion with temple university?????????????????
@youkhantube hello my name is Oscar, i was wonder to wat extent do i need to know Japanese i know that the video said most classes are taught in english but that is not all or am i wrong. I plan to go to University of Tokyo and i was wonder if there is anything important i should know, also if i go there is there any job that a poor Japanese speaker can get to pay for skool and housing of such. Thanks
@furbyy4593 You can find that on a lot of collages in Japan since it is very developed there, I think.... But you will find it on Tokyo university, that's for sure.
definitely one day , i'm going to study there, maybe in 3 years. i'm peruvian student. i study civil engineering in the UNI - PERU. Well i want to know some people there.
Harvard and MIT are rated highest I think, but Tokyo University tails right behind the two on the international rating. So in Japan, Tokyo University is considered similar to Harvard. MIT would probably be something like Kyoto University which is also very high ranked.
Outside of the university is advisable to have 3rd Level of the noryuku shiken to survive, though is relative. In tokyo you could need less japanese than in hokkaido for example. I was thinking it could be hard to put in first option the Todai, evereybody want to go there, I don't know, what do U think?. I think is easier to choose the Tokyotech, Osaka, Tohoku or Kyoto University. But always is the doubt what if i had chosen the Todai???.
hi mate, im Blessing92, again, sorry for bothering you so much but I am very interested in studying here. My problem is this, am very scare of being in another country, do u understand me? Imagine, im in but do japanese people treat well latins? Racism?Respect? Plzz answer this questions and tell me your experience when u got there, i will really appreciate it, cya later dude! TY
It is possible to study in Tokyo University's graduate programs (not sure about undergraduate programs) without having to speak Japanese; you just have to choose lectures/courses that are offered in English. But unfortunately not all departments provide courses in English. However, one thing is for sure: you must speak day-to-day conversational level Japanese to survive in Tokyo.

A number of students from Mexico come to Japan every year under the Japanese Government "Monbukagakusho" scholarship program. You do not have to know Japanese before coming to Japan. All univiersities have free Japanese language courses for international students. If you are interested to study in a university in Japan, please contact the education section of the Japanese embassy in your home country.
