People like that glamour model in this episode really annoy me. They sell their sex scandal story to a tabloid newspaper and complain and whine when they get hate mail. I know it's only fiction, but there are people like that in real life.
@mischief13 so by that logic if you are repulsed by an obese person you must be obese. or someone with horrific burns you regard as grotesque, so you must be horrifically burnt. see where that logic falls down?
@PirateElin i think fleamarket3000 was just pointing out a flaw in the logic. and besides you're criticizing a trait that people have no matter how they'd like to admit it. people can be judgemental and pretend that they like a physical attribute, but that only makes them both shallow and a liar. what can we judge as beautiful if not for personal standards of what is ugly. otherwise, everything would just be "normal". we cannot say something is beautiful w/o setting it against everyday norm
@PirateElin nor can we say something something is ugly if it were not lower than that standard. whether it is physical beauty or something less tangible like personalities, it's still a judgement call for each individual. some may speak their opinions and others may not. whatever works. it's a little naive to think that everyone should/could be good all the time. humans have grey areas, and thats what makes us human. so let that be the connecting factor, not the unifying personalities or mindset
Holy crap... I just noticed (yes, three seasons in) that this show was produced by Verity Lambert. Hmmm, I said to myself, where have I seen that name before? And then it hit me: she produced Doctor Who, episode one, season one, 1963 (and for two years after that.) RIP, a stupendous woman with a great sense of television!
Fantastic episode, but is "Anyone who's had a major coronary bypass and their leg bitten off by a crocodile is allowed to feel a bit wobbly first thing" the worst example of expositional dialogue in TV history? God I love this show....

When she said "Perhaps I should give this lawn a quick trim" was anyone else expecting her to head off to the washroom, not the tool shed?

I suspect they may have photo-shopped the actress' face/head onto a nude body as a prop for the article.

She's not at all unattractive, but her character is, frankly, quite vile, - good for journalism, though, apparently.
