@zXOuterHaveanXz depends on which unit. there's Russian, German, American, British and partisan (Freedom Fighter). let me know what you wanna do, if you're still interested (Just saw the vid, and the comment) and ill give you a site
Looks awesome! The bunkers/shelters look really sturdy and well built! The tanks looked real and life size, then we saw the chair in the background LOL!
Thanks guys! Yeah, they are really cool- you can go in and there are passage ways and rooms deep inside, and places where the ammunition was stored. Since we were there they've been doing some repairs, fixing it up & adding that big gun, which is a bit smaller than the originals, but with it they can demonstrate how they would lift up above the edge of the fort to fire, then come back down out of sight to load.
Yeah, the GI Joe stuff is actually very detailed! We loved looking at them!
"Big Sam Thompson" by Chris Thile. He was part of an incredible bluegrass group with a brother and sister he grew up with as friends. They started together very young & made some incredible music, but sadly they broke up a couple years ago. He is a master of the Mandolin!
When I make slideshows I go and look for a song I have that fits & this was exactly the same length & happens to be my favorite of his songs!
Thank you Dylan! It was a great day with Steven- before this we stopped at the air museum in Tillamook which is in a huge old blimp hanger the navy used to patrol for enemy submarines off the coast- it's over 1000 feet long!
Thanks David! Yeah, Oregon is the only state attacked-both on this attack, then later the sub popped up further south, pulled out the little airplane that was stored in the waterproof hanger on deck & the pilot flew over the forest & dropped incendiary bombs to start big forest fires-one went out on its own & the other was quickly put out by firefighters!
Later, inland, a pastor's wife & some kids found what turned out to be a Japanese balloon bomb that killed them-they sent thousands out!
Thanks Curtis! It was a fun day. This was when my digital camera didn't have vid on it, so I didn't capture it, but there was a German mortar crew that was "hit" by the bazooka round & they set off a small explosion and had a "dummy" German soldier that was flung about 20 feet into the air!

@zXOuterHaveanXz you have to go to the gift shop and join freinds of fort Stevens for reenactment`s
MrAlexprettyman 6 months ago
@MrAlexprettyman actually thats not true, reeneactors are a second group, not part of the park. The truck rides they give, thats part of the park,
