Rafale is much more agile and 1t lighter. He needs only 1s to do roll barrel :) I think that in dogfight Dassault Rafale would own Eurofighter Typhoon 2000. That's my opinion.
@mattnukeuk and your last real british design combat aircraft was the F100 english electrics and hawks as training planes.
( typhoon is 75 % no- UK , from other nation, Jaguar is 50 % French , Tornado is 66,6 % no UK, from other nation )

and dont forget who is THE aircraft europe makers ! airbus is in major part former aerospacial ! and a lots of EADS compagnies are also old French compagnies.

America and Europe make the world's fighting aircraft. Russia is a part of Europe although its' landmass is mostly in asia.

super etendard =/= mirage series
and French helped you a lot by providing to UK ( our allie ) important information and weakness to use against super etendard.
and mirage 2000 > all UK XX century aircrafts
and today Rafale > Typhoon like say former red arrows leader Peter collins and like we see in UAE [7-1]
( do you know a Mirage 2000-9 from UAE air force and piloted by a French had "kill" and F22 during air combat test in ATLC in UAE last november ?
