You have a definite "feel" for Ceasar Franck and his wonderful romantic music and it translates in your rendition of this beautiful work! As always, well done! Keep it up!
You just keep on getting better!
I agree this organ is very good for this music! Wonderful flutes!
Beautiful playing, Gert. You are becoming a true master of the Romantic organ style. Very good organ for this also. I find it interesting that the stop knobs look exactly like the ones I have made for the mechanical action organs I have built. Can you tell me who built this organ and when?
Always liked this piece. Have several records of it Most of them played on Cavallé-Coll organs. what makes it sound a litlle excessive. Your interpretation is the most deep , sober and delicate of all. Thanks for sharing. Best rgds from Portugal.
That was an excellent performance Gert. You caught the essence of the music perfectly, especially by keeping the fugue restrained and not over-registering it. Well done.
Thank you, Gert, for sharing this with us. I always look forward to receiving an E-mail informing me of another musical gift from you. You bring a lot of pleasure to your numerous fans around the world, including here in Australia. I hope you have a very happy Christmas!
Wow it's one of my favorite pieces, dank je wel Gert !! Especially I like the wistful melody line on the upper -- overwerk ? -- keyboard. The resistration & timbre both very touching ! Thanks !
Thank you Gert for this latest recording of a lovely piece. It is well played, as always but with the wonderful feeling and emotion that you also bring to your music.
Nice work! but tell me what can this quite music be use for can be use for wedding before bridal comes in or some thing else ? but I not heard this before mine you I do play a organ anyway and what happeid to feet work I not seen that at all as well see you playing the feet work is apart of music and give that back bit. So what happied ?
Hi, Gertrw, yes this piece is really well interpreted as usual, and the way that You present it,---it is so nice, You are my prefered Organist, Félicirations, Friendly Jacques.
Would be great without the chatter in the background
