I actually added this info. in the side-bar of the video; however, I bought these ones, and usually buy the coconut oil from middle eastern bazaar, or super market; and Wholefoods carries glycerine. You can also buy vegetable glycerine online. For the glycerine: If at wholefoods, check in the skin/hair care or baking ingredient sections- or just ask one of the patrons to help you find it.
I make this as well! A slight variation here and there, but basically, yeah! I add a TINY bit of honey but also castor oil & avocado oil; mine is not as thick looking. Never even heard of aloevera oil before! I just googled that, though. Now that I know how it is obtained (processed), I can appreciate the benefits of that ingredient. I will be adding it to my next batch. And yes, watchfuleye2008, it's gorgeous on the skin! Legs & arms...WOW!!
Peace be onto you as well :). I am glad you like this mix. I have got to try it with castor and avocado oil as well. It's amazing how customized and personalized one can make these mixtures (this is what I love about making my own).. :) Oh, I do use it for my skin as well, but without the tangerine essential oil- my skin is sensitive to it. Thank you so much for commenting. Have a great day!!
Will try this. I make a similar version but with a couple of different other thinks but I don't use the coconut butter and grapeseed oil. This is great though I will definitely try this.
Hope you are doing well. Yeah, the grapeseed and coconut oil ended up in the mix because I basically decided to add the oils that have individually worked well on my hair.. It's so great to just make one's own mix!!! Let me know if you like it after trying it. Take care lady :)
You are welcome. Who is the driver???? HA!! HA......!!!!! I had to look at the video again.. goofy me, I am always taking pictures while someone else is driving.
Thanks so much for watching and commenting on this video :)
Yeah, I second MamaTrina's response- It is absolutely great for the skin. The only thing is that I leave out the essential oil (my skin is sensitive to it).
I love the quality of your videos. Your voice narration in the background is cool. I have been using something like this for a while and love it. It kept out of the fridge for more than 4 months even without the honey. The only difference is I melt down my shea first before whipping.
I am looking all over for tangerine oil and the carrot oil. Any ideas on where I can find them?

@adamc800388 For tangerine oil, try Wholefoods; and carrot oil can be found at most Beauty Supply stores.

Hi Cjcaress69, Thank you..... I try!!!!
Yeah, I think that it can last for eternity as long as there is no water in it; and you are right, melting it down works for me as well.
Have a blessed weekend :)
