saw these guys in melbourne in the late 90's and at adelaide uni in the late 90's, raise has never been far from my cd/ipod listening and got tickets for Feb 19 2011 for the corner hotel again, thanks for reuniting and touring oz, 90's tunes are the soul of my life and as i enter my mid-late 30's the true great bands are more important to me than ever before.

I got Road Rash as one of the first games on 3DO, and then Sega Genesis, a true 16 bit, however, 3DO could do more, at the end of the day, they turned to software for PC. I got the game on PC and it runs on Win2K and Vista so far, tested VERY recently!
i remember playing this one forever... from dusk till dawn till dusk... esp. the final levels (Napa valley)... dude... it really took some grit to pass that one... and the amazing soundtrack.. (even though i dint understand a word of what they were saying, except maybe Satansville, i just loved the tracks... am now going on collecting the masterpieces one by one... :D)
by far one of the most memorable, if not the best, games EA ever made....
I was tripped out when this was on Burnout Paradise. everytime this son comes on I wanna rush to the junk yard and get my sports bike. it's an awesome song. funny think i still have road rash for the PS1.
Yeah...I've always thought Swervedriver was one of the best bands of the 90s. I never knew why they didn't take off commercially. Maybe they wanted to stay indie? One of my favorites for sure.
Everytime I hear this song, I remember those warm spring nights back in '98 when I used to listen to this and walk around my old neighborhood after supper. Good times..
great song from a great band! pls check out our video, we are still trying to get that shoegaze/ambient feel.. just type, jam experiment video file 1 (or video file 2).. leave a comment, thanks!
You all missed seeing them live... They were great! Last show I saw was at the Whiskey in LA. It was great to see them in such a small venue; you could really hear their sounds.
without a doubt,my all time favorite song ever.first heard this song on road rash when i was like 9 yrs old and Ive been listening to it ever since.Mezcal Head is a really good cd as well.its a shame these guys didn't get alot of attention that they deserve back in the 90's.
OK!My Bloody Valentine has reformed, the same goes with Jesus & Mary Chain. Now Swervedriver has done it, so we all wait for the best band ever....RIDE!!!Wouldn't that be something:)
Yeah, I really want to see Ride reform as well. I'm also seeing MBV and Swervedriver this year. Seems the shoegaze groups are all coming back, which is awesome.
I've heard about this video(the original version) but it was never aired on MuchMusic (Canada). Instead the other cut of Duel was aired; where they lay down on green pastures.
But my, this version is a more gutsy and adrenaline filled, reflecting the motion and speed of the song.
