I want to know that too. How can I create planes in an open space with nothing to reference?

@roaddict4life You need to reference something when creating a plane. Even if its just one of the basic planes already in the model. For instance if you select the Top Plane you can create another plane offset from it a particular distance.

Where would you look for a plane that doesn't have a reference to define it.

Does that make sense?
