It's a 1997 Porsche 911 993 Carrera 2 with Big Red brakes.

It is a 1997 993 Carrera 2 with Big Red brakes and the same suspension the Turbo 993 has. It is basically a clone of the 993 C2S without the slightly wider body.

I have been driving it a lot more on the track this year (12 days already + at least 3 more still scheduled) and I am faster this year shifting far less than seen in this video. But I have not bothered installing a camera on any of my track days yet, so you will have to take my word when I say I am faster.

Yes not only was there some pre-mature shifting, there is too much shifting. This video was taken from my 1st ever track day session last summer. I still have tons of improving still to do, but I did more track days after this (without video) and now I shift less and I let the RPMs get higher before I shift.
