Oh my god forget that 1000 years ago turkmenistan and turkey have relations. Today turkmenistan maybe a turkic nation but it is an independent nation and although I like turkey I hope the turkmen nation never becomes one with any union
the biggest relation between these two countries is, that the most turkish people descends from turkmenistan,our grand-grand-grand...-grandfathers came from there.Thefounder of the Ottoman Empire ,Osman Gazi(Ottoman) was Turkmen,too.
@Dyzm Turkish people arrived from modern-day Turkmenistan and were called Anadolu Türkmen. Their lifestyle used to be identical to that practiced by the Mongols.
