C64 Longplay - Transformers (HQ)

I didn't expect a transformers game be made outside japan. Maybe the programmers got the right during a business trip in japan (like how siara got the right to port thexdar to the ibm-pc just because theye were on a staff trip to tokio)

Um....considering this is the Commodre 64...this is pretty awesome. Hound looks like Hound when in vehicle mode, Lazerbeaks and Ravage running round and what I thought was Megatron too...pretty cool..again..considering.

Damn, the scrolling sure does suck. Why would they have you so far to one side during movement?

Oh my god... look this grafic, hear the sound. Even the cheapest cellphones has a better grafic. But I loved that game. I don´t remember how many times I played it. With this game my love for the Transformers has started (in1988) Thank you very much for uploading this video. I wish I still could play it (i.e. on my cellphone ^^)

I used to have this game back in the day when I was about 5. I think I only ever collected all 4 cubes once. Can't count the number of times I flew into a surface or transformed into a car and drove off to my death. Still loved the game though.

There are actually 2 Transformer games on the C64, one simply titled "The Transformers" and the other one that AVGN reviewed was Transformers: The Battle To Save The Earth.

I had the activision Transformers. It was different from this one, I think it was pretty much all a shooter game.

Oh, that was hell of frustrating game. Easy to crash the robo, bad controls and maze-like level. Still, I was playing just for listening that tune over and over again ;)

This game was frustrating 4 me because of the fact you're so close to the edge of the screen when moving left or right.
