There's a Baby Dolls in Topeka, KS. As a kid, my mother collected dolls, so every time we drove by, I told her we should stop and look. My mother was too embarrassed to correct me for a good 5 years.
Wait a second. I lived in Arlington for 18 years and I don't remember any downtown ever existing. Baby Dolls, yes; but no downtown. This sounds like a fairy tale.
Now I feel as if I missed out on Babydolls. My eyes were always glued to the huge sign near West End that had the waterfall. I just never remembered the name of the club. Just the waterfall.
With all the expertise of an interested dilettante, I have to say that this is a quite good debut video.
I like the format and - naturally, as a longtime Something Positive reader - style. Your vocal delivery is nice, too, although your pacing could possibly use a bit of work. It will probably fix itself once the awkwardness of trying out something new like this fades, I suspect.
Thank you, kindly. Yeah - the pacing was a bit of an embarrassment on this video. Hopefully the next one will turn out better. Also, I think I need a nicer mic.
That said, what is it with teenage girls and getting pissy about not being given money. I can clearly remember my sister doing this atleast twice a month, and it ended in dad punching your straight in the face every time. She just wouldn't shutup about it, it could never end with them telling her no, no, she had to drag it out for hours, drag it out till dad had enough and put her in a panda suit.
LOL!! That is so funny, I drove past it everyday on my way to work at Six Flags. Your mom might be interested to know (or not) that even the small tittie girls made lots of money there. A couple of them were patients at the Drs office my mom worked at.
I don't think I have ever laughed so hard in my entire life. Randy, your mother is the epitome of coolness (did I get that one right? Second language and all...).
Keep up the good work Randy. And say hello to your family. =)
I'm somewhat amused that a Youtube suggestion after watching this is "The Alphabet Song." ...Uh.

Yep. I drove by it on friday. It's on industrial.

Yep, it's still there. On industrial. And at 5 pm on a friday it looked like there were no parking spaces.

Just curious but is this that same sister that your mom made you call a "story-telling brat" in that one strip a while back?

I grew up in Bedford. To us, "Arlington" was "downtown."

Your voice works nicely with the persona I have devoloped for your work over the years. Which is a good thing by the way.
As for your pacing, tell the story to yourself in your head once you finalize the verbal. Then record it like that and set the visual to the verbal.
Pervect devoury.
