One of the things I keep hearing people criticizing Twilight for, is having Vampires who can walk in sunlight without being harmed. In fact Vampires dying in Sunlight is a 20th century invention by Hollywood that first appeared in the movie Nosferatu.Prior to that, nothing ever existed in Vampire lore and literature stating that vampires die in the sunlight.
