I like how aside from the joke through recognition value, Family Guy has probably hidden a shout-out to the three Aladdin movies in there.

The three movies are:

Aladdin (the movie, from 1992)

The Return of Jafar (direct-to-video from 1994)

Aladdin and the King of Thieves (direct-to-video from 1996)

Jafar thinks 1 is better than 2 since the first part, made for cinema, was of course more elaborrate.

He prefers 3 to 4 because 4 doesn't exist.

Neither 5 nor 6 exists, so he prefers neither of them.
