    I have to admit that I'm not that experienced with animation techniques, so I can't give you a definate answer at this point.

    But as everything is computed in realtime, the framerate isn't influenced if you move control points or assign different weights to them. So from a rendering standpoint animation is entirely possible.

  • Sweet - been studying splines, and wondering if geometry shaders could be written to do NURBS interpolation - nice work there. Would animation be easy to support from what you've been experimenting with, through bones and blend weights on the control points?
