there is absolutely no reason these students can not peacefully protest. whats really crazy is most of the students were arrested for trespassing, when they were let in.
This is beginning to get ridiculous with the protest, so many stories; but all are blaming the public safety department for doing their job. NOT one protester is stating that they were told to move to the overfill room (meaning, the BoT meeting was full) or go outside and not obstruct the hallway as they did. They record with their phones and cameras and state "we were brutally beaten by the officers", please show me the video of one officer lifting his baton and striking a person???
Clearly not peacefully protesting. Theyre obviously keeping them from going into somewhere and people are rushing the officers. Do you really think people arent gonna get hit/arrested. Fucking peasants
@AUG13MOSH ...hi. i was at this protest. the space they were trying to keep them out of was a public hall within Baruch...these were CUNY students that had paid to go there. Prior to the rush of police brutality, students sat down in the lobby as a show of peace and non aggression. they were immediately kicked up and rushed by the public safety. students were beaten and violently rushed out of a space they have the RIGHT to be in. please do your homework first. thanks
