  • And to imagine that they actually jump and sing like this at the same time....

  • Ah, a good Irish brogue, just what I was in the mood for this mornin'.

  • It doesn't sound like their actually speaking words. It's doopity doo da dooby rocky road to Dublin a dooby dooby (not exactly like that obviously). It's such a cool song. I wonder how many people could sing that song....

  • @GhostAndArrow Not many, which makes it brilliant :) Means nobody can make a terrible cover of it.

  • @GhostAndArrow

Of course you can't understand it, it's Irish. Haven't you ever heard an Irish accent before?

  • @IAmCaptainMarvel Im not Irish and I can understand it :p

  • @roflollolfor

I know, I know, I was just joking around. The Paddies always have the best music.

  • @IAmCaptainMarvel I have to say, its very hard to follow though.

  • ferferferferferferferferferferferferferferferferferferferferfer a 1 2 3 4 5 hahahaferferfefrefrfefrfferfefrehahaferferferferferf 1 2 3 4 5

  • Lovely!!!

  • 1) See an answer that got a lot of "like"

    2) Try to understand what could be the subject and imagine an intersting fight

    3) spend 10minutes to look after the guy who wrote it at first

    4) Find the comment

    5) and finally it was just a crappy comment.

  • lol look at the dislikes and likes

  • lol the lyrics didnt help at all to understand the word xD

  • It sounds like a foreign language if I don't read the lyrics. But I love it...

  • people who actually like this movie have never read any book from Arthur Conan Doyle!

  • @ositodeoro23 Because it's a Hollywood version of a classic?

I think they actually managed to pull of quite a movie, no matter it's origins, so please don't be so daft..

  • @ositodeoro23 why? I saw the movies and i am gonna read all the novels and books!

  • @heroforages i already started, you should read them...i think these are better than harry potter...

  • @ositodeoro23

Read many of those books, I absolutely loved this movie (and since we are on the subject, the sequel was also fantastic). oops, seems I've disproved your theory

Try not being so narrow minded hmm?

  • @ositodeoro23 I've read six of the books, and in my opinion, no these aren't REALLY Sherlock Holmes movies, but that doesn't make them any less enjoyable to watch.

  • @ositodeoro23 I'm living proof against such a fallacy.

  • why the hell do i laugh everytime i watch these pictures...

  • I love this song :D go Irish music haha...

  • This is great but I still like "My Little Armalite" Youtube search suggested.....

  • <3 <3 <3 <3 <3 <3

  • Gota love the Irish stews and music

  • great song great movie

  • I love how this song just keeps rolling on. I just bob my head back and forth.

  • Wow this song is the theme song for Sherlock Holmes... THANK GOD now it is a bit more known if you are looking for more Irish songs, look up Flogging Molly or the Dubliners (Dubliners sing this)

  • @MrAntdaveod whiskey in the jar

  • @badman22341 great song as well, but if you look at me comment you see I put in The Dubliners who sang that :-).

  • this is impossible to sing.

  • @BLANKMEMORYDATA you just need to be drunk like a true irishman

  • @BLANKMEMORYDATA Not really, you just have to be born Irish first. Otherwise, yeah, it's pretty difficult.

  • @sithllama Wasn't born Irish, only a quarter Irish, never heard an actual brogue before, understand this song perfectly

  • @BLANKMEMORYDATA only if your somber

  • Too busy clapping to reply ; - )

  • One, two, three four, five,

Hunt the hare and turn her down the rocky road all the way to Dublin,

  • @Itachitobisaga what do you mean?

  • @UKURR urban camouflage *nods

  • sucha badass song.

  • 13 people are... wait this is getting old

  • This is my revision song :)

  • This is not the first version of this song that I've heard, but one of the best. This is so easy to understand, I've had to translate my drunken Irish grandfather's slurred words, THAT was hard. Love a good slip jig/drinking song!

  • type Orthodox Celts- The Rocky Road To Dublin and listen the song! Bend is from Serbia believe or not.

  • Now I just need to memorize the lyrics....

  • Thks for that Andrew - I am interested in the history of these 'old' songs. When I was about 9 or 10 I had the privilege of seeing a guy called Liam Clancy (with his brothers and a boy called Tommy Makem in their white wool jumpers!) same guy? in our little town at a grand old theatre (damaged in the earthquake of Sept'10 and destroyed in the earthquake Feb'11). I rank Luke Kelly very high for a number of reasons but that Liam Clancy... he had a voice like liquid gold.

  • EPIC

  • this song tally w this movie! 2nd is awesome i hope they will made 3rd!

  • @ringsanddragons They will!!! They must!!!

  • @multibenny200 indeed!!! Jude Law & RDowney are the perfect couple! LOL

  • English Kurds...

  • It make u jump like a hobbit or a leprechaun xDDD

  • This is the best film song ever.

  • Süper fiLmdi müzikLeride harika ! Number ten fiLm perfeCt muSiC !

  • @14531453mikail Türkçe başlayıp türkçe devam etseydin keşke :(((

  • Sherlock holmes 2...one of the most entertaining film of the year!

  • Fricken awesome! (I mean Fekkin'!)

  • yay!My favorite on film!

  • Isn't it The Dubliners? with that angel Luke Kelly on lead vocals. (How does this relate to silly Justin Bieber's penis size?! What a silly world we live in).

  • @derekwhitenz It's an old Irish song going back about 150 years, first sung in the modern era (to my knowledge) by a man named Liam Clancy.

  • @derekwhitenz Ye, it's the Dubliners. Try the Irish Rovers version of the song, I think it's better. Still always nice to hear it, no matter who sings it.

  • Predivno :D

  • svaka čast ortodox-i :)

  • listen to this song by the high kings its really good to

  • since when are we irish peaceful :P

  • Whers the feckin repeat button?!

  • that history reminds me of some parent that drinks beer so much ... my uncle xD!

  • Should have know it was the Dubs

recognized it but didn't know who it was

  • I was listening to the Dubs a few years before this movie came out (my friend Mike had Dropkick Murphys music, but there was something unappealing about it, and I found the Dubliners looking for better versions) and I thought it was awesome to hear their music in this movie. <3 I was astonished!

  • I'm from Tuam!

  • Why do all you people have to mock others who dislike this video?! Fine: people have different opinions and some people dislike this. SO WHAT?! Why don't you just accept that not everybody thinks like you do and stop bugging us with your pathetic attempts to seem like a popular person?! WE DON'T GIVE A SHIT! Honestly. If you like this video that much, just say that! Here's an example: I love the music, liked the film and can't wait for the new soundtracks. :) Yay! (that really wasn't hard!)

  • Great, i have to found the comment of HI4444444444 now. Fuck !

  • @mathis03100 "View All Comments", Ctrl+F, HI4444444444. But you'll wish you hadn't...!

  • 12 people hate potatoes.

  • I love this song :D

  • I wonder who are those 12 people who didn't like this song...

  • Arthur Conan Doyle would be spinnning in his grave if he knew what people had done to his book. I still like the movie though.

  • @rudeawakening010 he wouldn't man, the Lost World by the same man is about dinosaurs, and early type humans, i think he'd be okay with the modern film interpretation.

  • @rudeawakening010 I agree with the first half of what you said. Still, since when is Sherlock Holmes a ninja? Guy Ritchie has succeeded in "dumbing" down Holmes from legendary detective to eccentric action hero.

Get ready. Holmes is the next Captain Jack Sparrow. That just means more "Sherlock Holmes" sequels. *sigh*

  • Can't wait for the Second :DDDDDDDDDDDDD

  • Greetings from Hungary to all Irish here!!!!!

    Love the song! thx

  • I am Bulgarian but i LOVE this song and the movie.

  • I'm not being racist, before anyone starts.

I would love to go to Ireland one day, but I hear a lot of them have a problem with the English.

  • @RasputinTheWerewolf some do and some dont, just be friendly and people will show you great time

  • @RasputinTheWerewolf don't be scared the Irish can be hard headed but are friendly folk

  • @kitfox252000 I'm not scared at all. but there is a difference between being told "no" when you try to enter a pub, and getting shot.

  • @RasputinTheWerewolf That would depend on the type of english, for instance if you came over here waving the union jack you would not be well recieved. But if your just here to visit and have a good time we'll love you :)

  • I sit till the end of the credits just to listen to this song. All the time :D

  • everytime me and my best friend here this song, we jump up, link arms, and start dancing to this irish jig in a circle

  • WAAR DE FUCK SLAAT DIT OP YOUTUBE. RECLAME MAKEN TIJDENS HET FILMPJE

  • im usually a metal head, but this music, i have to say, get's me PUMPED!!!!! I want the lyrics >.<

  • Oh I love it! Never knew it was actually a song. :O So what's a "Whack-fol-lol-de-ra.

    "?

  • @xlemathax it means 'the big nasty' (if you know what i'm sayin')

  • This makes me smile .. =D

  • @khangle0805 I was ready to swear at you, for using those old, stupid jokes, but when I saw Justin Bieber's ugly name, I was sooooo happy! Thanks for that :)

  • @khangle0805 Haha what an original statement
