The young girl with the' freckles and' kinda red hair played the part of my aunt MINNIE in the movie CHRISTY. Aunt minnie was the' sister to my grandma Mary (Fish)Cashen who married Charlie Cashen who was the' son of' BUCK Cashen who helped build the mission. Buck married one of the' TURNER girls from that area.

Been to the Christy Mission in Del Rio many times. Del Rio is beautiful. Thanks for sharing scenes from there. Say Hi to Larry and Karen Myers from Marie and Charlie in Maryland. Missed going this summer.

nothing like going back Home where' I used to work the fields and' cut Timber from the Mountains. There are' so many memories here of' good and' sometimes hard times. This is the place that has inspired so many song for me as a Songwriter. I hope to go back someday and' build a Log Cabin on the highest mountain becouse' this is the land of peacefull harmony. A place where a man can rest his mind.
